  1. Ce costume pourrait être chic mais petit bémol au niveau de la veste qui est plissée par le dernier bouton qui la ferme ; élégant son petit foulard imprimé !

Oof. Victoria's suit looks saggy and slouchy -- not the sharp tailoring we usually see from her.

    1. I agree, however it´s not the suit´s fault. The suit is perfectly fine. But the jacket needs to be buttoned properly (there is a button on the inside too), and the trousers need to be worn with heels (they are too long for her flat shoes). I can imagine that she a) unbuttoned the jacket and lost the scarf once inside, and b) changed to different shoes, possibly the matching grey suede boots like in the other picture from a previous occasion.
The king looks sharp. I like his hat and his briefcase.

Personally I think this is a very good move.

Just a matter of the buttoning after jumping out of the car. Love these shoes with the beautigul grey wool - and so sensible on the snow and in the cold. I love black leather loafers with grey wool - so chic. Also love her scarf and bag. Beautifully coordinated and every inch a working royal!

Stupid comment. She's at a National Conference in Sälen, in a winter landscape. What did you expect, high heels and a gala dress?

8:20 you can state your opinion or gently correct another without saying their comment is stupid. I find that very disrespectful and unnecessary.

Nice suit fits well, when she wore it with heels the length was correct, and I suspect there is an inside button to hold the front in alignment is not done up. Professional looking, perfect for this occasion. The king suits this type of hat well. As always the fit of his slacks and jacket with matching tie, is perfect.

  4. As far as pictures demonstrate, the fit seems to be ok when she wore the suit earlier, but with high heels. It is disastrous with the heavy winter shoes.

Ah I love the shoes! I think their coordinate much better with this type of grey wool suit than heels! But also there’s a high chance she switches to lighter shoes inside. This is normal practice in the Swedish winter.

But MaryT she’s arrived in the middle of the Swedish winter up north to the middle of the mountains… how are heavy winter shoes anything other than correct?! She’s looks fab!

Love the winter shoes. Very appropriate for a ski resort!

    4. @ 4:50 & 4:55 Yes to your point, but then the trousers should be a bit shorter. Pics 2&3 show something which doesn't work IMV.

Brrrr, looks very cold! The King is well turned out but this isn’t the best look for CPV. The double breasted jacket, long pants, and heavy shoes are tough to pull off.

Loving this look on Victoria. Suit jacket sitting a little puckered, but that’s just from sitting in the car. The scarf is knotted just so, and I find it so interesting that black and white can lift the grey! The shoes are fab for winter - and anyway lovely for this outfit.

Excellent outfits by King and daughter to arrive to this stand-alone cosy hotel in the middle of the winter mountains. High heels would certainly have looked out of place but the grey suit, excellent scarf, and flat shoes were a terrific choice!

Jag tycker nog valet av klädsel är både fint och stiligt för uppdraget.
Det är ingen fest och inte heller ett ämne som passar med alla möjliga färger och glitter.
Victoria är fin och även kungen.
De vet hur man klär sig rätt.

If other royal ladies would wear an ill fitted suit like this they would receive any good comment. I can understand she cannot wear high heels in the snow, but in that case the length of the trousers should be adapted. It is possible that the jacket is not buttoned properly but with H&M it is possible that there is no button on the inside.

I would say a bit boring. The King is dressed for the Season.

The pants are too long and the jacket doesn't fit well. She's again wearing her hair too tight with a bun. She looks all business.
