On January 20, 2026, Queen Mary of Denmark took part in the Mary Foundation’s event marking the expansion of “Together Without Violence – Pregnant Women” to Region Zealand. Upon arrival at Holbæk Hospital Region Zealand, Queen Mary was received by Hospital Director Niels Reichstein Larsen. During the visit, the Queen participated in a roundtable discussion and later took part in a training day for midwives.

Very nice navy blouse there (I'd like to own it and wear it a lot!) coordinated with light grey. I also would have liked to see this paired with dark grey, which is lovely in winter; but the light grey brightens the outfit. Her hair is in a relaxed styling which I very much like for these working meetings she attends. Imperfect and real but neat is a perfect tone!

ردحذفQueen Mary can do nothing wrong on this blog. It is laughable how much venom is written about the Princess of Wales and yet here as usual we have nothing negative but plaudits. Presumably we have many Danish and Australian visitors. However it would be really nice if Catherine received the same treatment.
ردحذف22:17 there’s no competition. They are separate women, each in my view, working hard and doing it so elegantly. Any venom is always horrible to see; I don’t find it laughable but really horrible. And yes, Mary is particularly loved and carries out her role beautifully.
حذفI noticed Kate receives the most comments of any other royal. She is the most popular hence the "venom". A lot more people from all over are commenting so you will get more negative feedback. I also noticed she gets a lot of praise, worship and gushing so it works both ways.

Have you ever viewed to what extent the Princess of Wales is loved, praised and respected by onlookers lined up on streets and or by hosts in venues wherever she goes?
The public respect the royals who respect the public and can carry out their duties beautifully.
The negatives against her on this blog are horrible and unsubstantiated.
They do not show the true enthusiastic feedback from the public welcoming the Princess everywhere.
I don't look at the royals through rose colored glasses. Many people are waking up to the fact they are regular human beings just like you and I. I won't get into their flaws and scandals. Which could be why it is hard for them to get respect from ordinary people. Sorry to say it, but I'm only interested in their clothes. To be fair most people are kind in their comments about Kate. I haven't really read anything horrible.

Just saying that her make up is too heavy or her outfit isn’t just the most perfect thing ever and you will be accused of being a hater, jealous or don’t know what you're talking about. Any opinion that doesn't line up with theirs drives them crazy. Honestly, I never got the fuss over her but I’m not Danish or Australian. She seems nice enough, is attractive but no great beauty, dresses well and seems to do what is required of her as queen. Which is what most of the current queens and princess do. The most criticism I’ve ever read about the Princess of Wales on this site usually has to do with her hair or her very slim figure. Would that be considered venomous?

Re: Queen Mary.
The point is that there shouldn't be any beauty contest on a fashion blog and it is pretty unfair to downgrade a royal lady by repeating " Mary isn't a great beauty".
Nationalities do not play any role in praising a woman, by the way.
Only fashion should be judged, beauty ranking not being the matter of discussion on this platform.
Nobody goes nuts, Mary can fail fashionwise and makeup wise just like any other royal but she is truly flawless from head to toe most of the time.
When a royal woman is downgraded over and over by some commenters, it resonates as a form of hidden jealousy and hate toward her.
How would you react if someone should say that you are not a great beauty implying that other beautiful/very beautiful/ stunning women can be found elsewhere but you are not one of them?
I’m not Danish nor Australian but I also like QM’s style more than that of the PoW. It’s just my honest opinion. And other readers see it otherwise… That’s ok, yes ? Nothing to do with venom. Don’t be ridiculous.
