Can't reallly see much of the clothing in these pics. The last picture makes you wonder who they are listening to because the audience certainly looks perplexed.

Perplexed indeed and in one photo the king and queen even look a little glum.

King Philippe and Queen Mathilde do not look perplexed at all. They are just concentrated on the speech of someone.

Of Queen Mathilde one is used she is always smiling. Now that she has a serious face when listening to a speech she looks "perplexed" ?

Queen Mathilde is rewearing a beautiful creme jacket and trousers. Under the jacket she is wearing a caramel top and her handbag has the same color. Upon arrival Queen Mathilde wore a black puffed coat by Canada Goose over her cream outfit, the same she wore on the artistic pictures of her which were taken at the end of the state visit to Chile last year. As today it is her birthday, I wish her a happy and fine birthday in Davos.

Once again, everyone with name and rank comes to Davos. Hope they are not getting to rowdy, due to everything going on in the world. Hope every speaker has something positive to contribute.

It's a very well organised and run meeting, full of people behaving themselves (even if some of them might be confrontational people in their work style outside the congress).

I concord with your hope that every speaker had something positive to contribute, CSS. (Although what often happens is that there's a small group of people with something expert and positive to say - eg Queen Maxima who normally contributes to a panel on microfinance, where she speaks with authority and encouragement - and then a large group of people who turn up because they really want to meet their next influential business contact for deals and profit whether for self, their organisation or their country). It is nevertheless, a fascinating group of delegates.

I must draw your attention on the fact that Queen Maxima, nor King Willem Alexander have been seen here often.

Somebody who is not aware of what is going on in the world, not even after the 56th time this congres takes place there. And even if you are not interested in what is discussed, Davos remains a beautiful place to visit as well during winter as during summer.
