On November 7, 2025, Queen Sofía of Spain attended the launch of the 2025 Gran Recogida, a major solidarity campaign promoted by the Spanish Federation of Food Banks (FESBAL). The campaign is being held in more than 11,000 establishments across Spain from November 7 to 9 under the slogan “We Give It All.”
Accompanied by representatives of FESBAL and a group of volunteers, the Queen visited a Carrefour supermarket in Madrid, one of the donation points set up for this year’s edition. During her visit, she met with the staff and volunteer teams participating in the initiative, which aims to collect the equivalent of 10 million kilos of food to help more than one million vulnerable people throughout the country.
On November 6, 2025, Queen Sofía inaugurated the 11th National Alzheimer’s Congress and the 15th Ibero-American Congress, held in Ibiza under the theme “Breaking Boundaries.” The congress brought together around 500 participants from various countries, including professionals from the social and healthcare sectors, researchers, family members, volunteers, and representatives of national and international organizations.

DeleteThe Queen is very classy
ReplyDeleteLove the first jacket, the cut,the colours, the fit, especially with the pretty coloured blouse and necklaces. The second jacket look alittle bulky buttoned up but a lovely colour. I like the look unbuttoned. The lady in the light suit, very nice other than the pants should have been shorter, because the narrowing around the ankle makes them pool above her shoes. Love theses fall clolours
ReplyDeleteLovely jackets, especially the 1st one. Love the blouse too. Among all the autumn colours, the blueish and greenish colors look very nice and fresh.
ReplyDeleteQueen Sofia has an outstanding wardrobe of beautiful jackets and matching or coordinated pants. It is a joy to me to see the patterns matched at the seams, the beautiful fitting jobs and her taste in lovely colors and fascinating jewelry. She's always very beautifully presented. One thing I might have done in the second suit is to make the pocket flaps smaller. They emphasize her hips, not her best feature. Prettier buttons would be nice, too.
ReplyDeleteLa Reine sait faire preuve d'élégance tant les styles que les couleurs ; cerise le gâteau, les bijoux sont très bien choisis !
