On the evening of November 6, Princess Kako of Japan attended the opening ceremony of the 2025 Tokyo International Deaf Art Festival – The City of Sign Language, held at Za-Koenji Public Theatre in Suginami, Tokyo. The event brought together participants with hearing impairments from more than 15 countries. During the ceremony, the Princess watched performances, including a Japanese drumming presentation by deaf performers.

Nice colours. The most active member of the Imperial family.
ReplyDeleteNiece to an Emperor
Future daughter to an Emperor
Future sister to an Emperor
She's going to busy for a long time!
And she could have been a wonderful reigning Empress
DeleteIs she the most active - or the one we see most often
DeleteYes at 30 years old it seems she has dedicated her life to the court. Her wardrobe is always interesting and more colourful than others. Her shoes, would a thinner heel, like a kitten heel elevate the overall look? Lovely lady
ReplyDeleteI don’t see how to “elevate” someone who is already superb! Kitten heels are pretty fashionable in the US at the moment, but not in Japan. She’s wearing excellent clothes for her culture. So cute isn’t she?!
DeleteDefinitely one of my favourite royals!
ReplyDeleteLovely turnout! She is always so engaging. MR
ReplyDeleteAdorable jeune fille que je ne manque pas de voir sur mon écran ; elle sait très bien choisir des tenues en combinant de belles couleurs !
ReplyDeleteAlways a joy to see this young lady. She always brings a joyous energy on her visits.
ReplyDeleteLowri.
She is a wonderfully warm young woman. Her smile is just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteMinimal & elegant that's all you need. Princess Kako is an asset to the JRF, one of my favourites. Mary
ReplyDeleteThe Princess looks beautiful. She is so outgoing and bubbly. She always gives so much energy to her visits. Happy and engaging, she is a real asset to the royal Imperial family.
ReplyDeleteHow nice to see Pss Charming once again.

Not about fashion but maybe someone can answer this question. If the Japanese princesses want to marry AND stay in the family, are there any eligible male royals to marry? Allison
