Princess Aiko of Japan is making an official visit to Laos as this year marks the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Laos. On November 21, 2025, Princess Aiko of Japan visited the Traditional Lao Silk Residence in Vientiane. Silk weaving has been a cherished tradition in Laos for generations. Afterwards, the Princess met with representatives of the Japanese community in Laos.
Later that day, Princess Aiko attended a performance by the young musicians of the Issarapon Violin Ensemble in Nongvai Village, Vientiane. The Issarapon School opened in November 2015 as a kindergarten with four students. With support from Angel Garden Kindergarten in Japan, as well as Mao Sato, Nobuko Usami, and Dr. Hiroki Yanagisawa, it has since expanded and now operates as both a primary and secondary school.
On Thursday, November 20, 2025, Princess Aiko visited the Lao Friends Hospital for Children (LFHC) and the Kuang Si Waterfalls. LFHC is the only provider of free, high-quality healthcare for children in northern Laos, located in Luang Prabang Province. The Kuang Si (Kuang Xi) Falls, or Tat Kuang Si Waterfalls, is a three-tiered cascade situated south of Luang Prabang.

Pendant cette visite, la princesse aura été délicieuse en portant un choix de tenues traditionnelles ou non lui convenant à merveille !
ReplyDeletei miss the traditional outfits!
ReplyDeleteWell what an array of outfits. The first dress and jacket not the best. This pale pink is not a good colour for her. Clearly her shoes are too big. It has been said royals wear bigger shoes to accommodate foot swelling but sliding forward in a shoes is not good either. Second outfit again a tad too big. The blue suit fits well and is a better colour for her complexion. The blouse and pants look very nice.
ReplyDeleteI agree with everything you wrote.
DeleteContemporary, beautifully tailored outfits that fit Aiko exceeding well. What a wonderful you woman.
ReplyDeleteEvery outfit Lovely!
Paloma.
