Final Day of King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia’s State Visit to Canada

King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia are paying a State Visit to Canada. The final day of the visit took place in Montreal, in the province of Quebec. The King and Queen, together with Minister Ebba Busch and Minister Pål Jonson, attended a meeting on Swedish-Canadian cooperation in security, defence, and technology. The meeting was held at the aircraft manufacturer Bombardier Aerospace, where the guests were given a tour of the factory.

King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia​ of Sweden later visited the Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute, Mila. The visit concluded with a panel discussion titled A Sweden-Canada Dialogue on AI Leadership and Innovation. The State Visit came to an end on Thursday evening when the King and Queen departed Canada.
