  1. This is kind of new styling on her. Not the usual floral dress or pantsuits.
I like the stripped skirt, it would have been great to see the jacket if she wore it properly.

  4. I am not sure that a cape is the only possibility to keep Victoria warm. If it is a cape - because without good contours there is no good recognisability, which is exactly the problem with this kind of garments. IMHO, quite a bad choice for everyone. If it is a jacket, she should put it on when posing for photos. The neckline of the shirt is too high and tightly closed around her neck, which is usually not so good for her. The skirt as such looks pretty, but we don't see how it looks on her.

    1. I don’t think the lack of contours is the problem for “recognisability” here but rather just a brief inside pic against a complicated background, effectively at “home”, before a meeting. It’s hard to see the outfit in the indoor light but I see she’s picked out two of the colours from the skirt for blouse/jacket. I don’t have a problem with someone sorting a cape or jacket on their shoulders when they’re focussing on the meeting and need a little extra warmth for a moment.

    2. J'ai cru voir aussi une cape tout d'abord, mais je crois que c'est une veste très courte (il me semble qu'on voit les manches sur les côtés).
Je n'aime pas tellement cet ensemble. Paloma.

    3. @Anon 13:41: She, together with the other person, quite evidently looks into the camera and focuses in this moment not on the meeting, but on a photograph being taken. But look - much better without that cape-like thingy: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/G33fH-FWkAE6c0G?format=jpg&name=medium.

  5. La jupe plissée est bien jolie mais je la porterais avec un top bleu marine sous une veste courte/boléro, le tout judicieusement ceinturé !

  6. This is a rather unusual look for Victoria. I like the skirt (at least from what I can see). I think the navy blouse looks good with the skirt in terms of color. The cape looks completely out of place--I really don't like its addition as it seems too odd unless she needed it for warmth.

  8. What a great skirt. I bet with the jacket on she looked very professional. I have no problem with draping a jacket on the shoulders, clothes are meant to be functional so arms in or arms out, whatever it takes to be comfortable

  9. Strange combination : black and white skirt, navy top, short aubergine cape and belt in the same colour. I'd replace the navy top by a white top or blouse.

    1. The skirt has a lot of navy and aubergine. The blouse and jacket pick them up perfectly.
