On the evening of September 9, 2025, King Carl XVI Gustaf, Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, Prince Carl Philip, Princess Madeleine, and Mr. Christopher O'Neill attended a concert by the Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra at the Stockholm Concert Hall. The concert was held to mark the opening of the Riksdag’s 2025/2026 parliamentary year.
On this occasion, Queen Silvia wore a Marchesa Alba jacket with a matching midi skirt by Camilla Thulin. Crown Princess Victoria wore a dark blue Deiana one-shoulder jumpsuit by Hugo Boss. Princess Madeleine wore a bouclé and chiffon midi dress by Self-Portrait.

I really like this family. The king has no problem letting his wife walk before him. They are all well dressed in lovely styles that suits each of them.
ReplyDeleteI’m pleasantly pleased to see both CP Victoria and Pss Madeline in high street fashion/affordable ensembles. It proves that you don’t need top high end clothes to look perfectly turned out. I especially love PM Self Portrait dress. She elevated the look by pairing it with tan accessories. Her hair beautifully done. Her hair and make up are a fine final
ReplyDeleteLowri.
I think P Madeleine's handbag is white and her sandals are gold.
DeleteThe self portrait looks nice, but I don't like the skirt, I like the underskirt to match the hemline. The Queen looks wonderful, this is a lovely ensemble. Victoria looks great in this repeat ensemble, very stylish and chic.
ReplyDeleteVictoria looks stunning. She is not always best dressed for me, but she is this time! Simply gorgeous! Different iterations of Madeleine's Self Portrait dress have been seen on a few of the royal ladies.
ReplyDeleteThis time cap Victoria outshines her sister. Lovely classy jumpsuit. I’m still loving Princess Madeleine’s updo and the dress is fine but nothing special. Queen Silvia’s outfit is a bit too patterned for me. Perhaps the lovely jacket over a plain shift dress. All look good anyway
ReplyDeleteVictoria for the win. She looks flawless.

Totally agree. Princess Victoria looks wonderful!
Delete100% agree!
DeleteCarl-Gustav always stands out in a group of men, his suiting is impeccable.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing Silvia's bright and cheerful flared skirt ensemble again; it is very flattering, and a change from her usual pencil skirts. But the Chanel 2- tone flats just do not harmonise with the print; I dare say they are the choice of comfort, but hope she can get some bespoke flats made in plain colours so as to increase her footwear options. Lyra
Effortlessly, Victoria!
ReplyDeleteWow...Victoria looks fantastic in the Boss one-shoulder jumpsuit! She has the perfect upper body and overall athletic figure to wear an outfit like this to its maximum advantage. I also like the fact that she went with full black, and no distracting colours or unnecessary accessories. C'est très chic.
ReplyDeleteI also like Madeline's outfit. The fact that it is in total proportion to her taller height and figure, and is paired with the perfect beige stiletto sandals makes this outfit look beautiful and elegant, even with the lace overlay.
Very nice all round.

Victoria looks stunning!
ReplyDeleteLovely ladies! I especially like what Madeleine is wearing. I have always liked a thin longer part over a shorter skirt, it gives the outfit an edge when not too long. This is perfect. She could easily wear that skirt also without top layer and perhaps we will see it one day like that. This dress is a classic one and I would like to have it in my wardrobe.
ReplyDeleteVictoria's jumpsuit is also a rewear and it looks fabulous on her. Dark blue really suits her.
Queen Silvia's skirt could be a little bit shorter and less wide, but she looks very lovely and youthful (for a 82 years old woman) and what a nice picture holding hands with the king. All the men are looking good.
Can I fight you again for the jumpsuit, Zucchina?!?
DeleteOh, we do have another meeting of our jumpsuit-fightclub! Welcome everybody!
DeleteSure we will fight, Coralie and anon at 16:26!
DeleteHow nice to find people with a similar sense of humor here. Jumpsuit-fightclub sounds very professional... 🤭😅

CP Victoria - such a beautiful woman!
ReplyDeleteAgree! And she has such a lovely smile too!
DeleteMadeleine, as often, is the more "princessy" looking one, which suits her well, she is pretty. But Victoria is pure classic Greek drama, so simple, so good (without: collar here, puffy sleeves there, numerous little buttons and flowers everywhere (the comparison is with Queen Mary's Zimmermann blouse yesterday, which was a small fail for me). I like Queen Silvias suit as much as I liked it the first time, small quibble: I would have chosen single-colour flat ballerinas.
ReplyDeletePrincess Madeleine's dress by Self-Portrait is the same as the Princess of Wales wore a couple of years ago. I think it suited Catherine better than Madeleine. CP Victoria is top. She looks chic, elegant and formal at the same time in her jumpsuit. Queen Sylvia's 2 pieces is lovely but compared to her daughters she is wearing a day dress and not an evening outfit. The jacket is lovely but the skirt is a bit too wide and too long. A long column skirt in the same green or brown as the leaves in her jacket would have been perfect. Of course another pair of plain flats would be necessary.
Paloma.
👏 Bravo Victoria
ReplyDeletePrincess Madeleine...wow. So used to seeing her with her lovely hair down, so yesterday's updo was wonderful surprise. It was a formal event, so perfectly done. She looked so elegant and stylish during the daytime events and also for the evening. So wonderful to have her back!!!
ReplyDeleteVictoria and Silvia also looked great.

10.58 I agree!
DeleteLa tenue de madeleine est très jolie. Victoria rayonne, mais je n'aime pas le "one shoulder" de manière générale.
ReplyDeleteVictoria is the winner for me. Very sophisticated with an edge to it. This may sound weird, but I feel that Madeleine is overdoing it a bit lately, she seems over the top styled, somehow. Gorgeous in any case, all three of them (even if Silvia could have done slightly better for this evening event).
ReplyDeleteYess, my thoughts also.
DeleteTrois styles différents mais avec beaucoup d'élégance !
ReplyDeleteLa Reine et Madeleine sont magnifiques cela change de modèles déjà vus et revus
