On September 23, 2025, Queen Letizia visited the Cancer Research Center (CIC), established in 1995 to promote the Institute of Molecular and Cellular Biology of Cancer. The visit took place within the framework of the presentation of the 'Patient Advocacy' project of the Spanish Association Against Cancer, which seeks to incorporate the voice of patients into cancer research, in the context of World Cancer Research Day.
During her visit, the Queen met with researchers from the CIC of Salamanca and students from the University of Salamanca. Later, Queen Letizia presided over the international event of World Cancer Research Day (WCRD), held at the Miguel de Unamuno Campus of the University of Salamanca, observed on September 24. Queen Letizia serves as Honorary President of the Spanish Association Against Cancer and its Scientific Foundation.

Tout à fait à mon goût cette veste que je pourrais porter sans ceinture !
ReplyDeleteThis is very elegant and ‘Audrey Hepburn’ , perfect for her fragile posture.
ReplyDelete🤣
Paloma.
🤣
DeleteThe blazer is great but the black belt cuts Letizia in half and is too prominent.
ReplyDeleteIt interferes with the overall design. I like it belt-less as shown on the model.
Agree with Sandra
DeleteGood choice for the event, for me I prefer without the belt on the jacket. The pants for my taste would be not so snug, or different shoes. Not sure why it just looks a bit off to me.
ReplyDeleteThe black belt doesn't look good. It cuts her height in 2 parts. If she must absolutely wear a belt, maybe a white or off-white belt (depending the color of the jacket) would be much better.
ReplyDeleteSans la ceinture pour moi, je ne suis pas aussi mince que Letizia
ReplyDeleteFroufrou
Love the jacket and the shoes. I’d probably prefer the jacket without the belt.
ReplyDeleteHow many people work on this topic and in all those years never find a cure.
ReplyDeleteIn the time my father had it they said in 40 year is a cure??!??
I suppose you talk about Cancer Research. There are types of cancers which can be cured these days. Some types of cancer can't be cured yet. The researchers discover regularly things they didn't know before. My husband died of cancer and there are cancer patients in my family for the moment. Every type of cancer is different and needs a different approach. These days one can help cancer patients better than when my husband died of this terrible disease. The only thing one can do is to support the scientists and researchers in their important work they are doing every day.
DeleteSorry for your loss! (Both of you.)🙏
DeleteThx Coralie

The added black belt looks excellent with this jacket and pants.
ReplyDeleteMaybe a thinner black belt
DeleteI love both - belt or no. Only someone with her neat figure could do either. Love those boucle jackets. She has such good fashion sense.
ReplyDeleteAnonyme 08 : 10. Bien dit. Je suis d'accord avec toutes vos phrases. Paloma.
DeleteAlways a class act.
