On September 23, 2025, Queen Letizia visited the Cancer Research Center (CIC), established in 1995 to promote the Institute of Molecular and Cellular Biology of Cancer. The visit took place within the framework of the presentation of the 'Patient Advocacy' project of the Spanish Association Against Cancer, which seeks to incorporate the voice of patients into cancer research, in the context of World Cancer Research Day.

During her visit, the Queen met with researchers from the CIC of Salamanca and students from the University of Salamanca. Later, Queen Letizia presided over the international event of World Cancer Research Day (WCRD), held at the Miguel de Unamuno Campus of the University of Salamanca, observed on September 24. Queen Letizia serves as Honorary President of the Spanish Association Against Cancer and its Scientific Foundation.

    Voilà une tenue adaptée pour une visite dans un laboratoire médical...
    On a récemment vu Letizia avec un autre blazer en tweed, presque identique, le 11 septembre à Madrid. Celui-ci est plus long et avec des manches, mais un peu semblable en coloris. Les deux lui vont bien, que ce soit avec un pantalon noir ou un pantalon blanc. Simple et chic, comme souvent. Paloma.

  4. The blazer is great but the black belt cuts Letizia in half and is too prominent.
    It interferes with the overall design. I like it belt-less as shown on the model.

    Good choice for the event, for me I prefer without the belt on the jacket. The pants for my taste would be not so snug, or different shoes. Not sure why it just looks a bit off to me.

    The black belt doesn't look good. It cuts her height in 2 parts. If she must absolutely wear a belt, maybe a white or off-white belt (depending the color of the jacket) would be much better.
