On June 16, 2025, Queen Mathilde of Belgium visited Digital for Youth in Kontich, an organization that aims to bridge the digital divide among young people aged 6 to 25. Digital for Youth collects used computers from companies, refurbishes them, and distributes them to young people who need them most. The organization also aims to spark their interest in digital technologies and help them develop essential digital skills.
Digital for Youth was founded on July 31, 2019, by DNS Belgium and Close the Gap. DNS Belgium is a Belgian non-profit organization. Close the Gap collects pre-owned computers from organizations and works with partners to securely wipe, inspect, and configure the devices according to end-users' needs. The refurbished equipment is then used to support educational, medical, entrepreneurial, and social projects.
This is a perfect style for HM. Shirt dresses are far more forgiving than fitted or gathered dresses. The color is also very flattering on HM.
ReplyDeleteLowri.
Love this dress, perfect colour, fit, length. She looks so elegant.
ReplyDeleteNot bad at all. The darker colours in the print give it a slightly formal, business look.

DeleteA second Diane von Furstenberg in our feed this week and both Mathilde and a few days ago Charlene look marvellous in them I think she’s a very clever designer for simple classy dresses that are comfortable to wear and suit many different body types. Not exactly high street but a much more acceptable price point than many of the designer brands we see here.
ReplyDeleteI agree!
DeleteQueen Mathilde as well as her daughters wore this brand on several occasions in the past. The comments were not always good then. Now that Princess Charlene is wearing "Diane von Furstenberg" too it seems to been accepted as a good brand. Personally, it is not my favourite look for Queen Mathilde. Not because of the brand, but shirt dresses in general I do not like on the queen. Sometimes a tall lady who is very thin looks good in a shirt dress. I can understand that a dress like this is comfortable to wear during summer as a daily business dress to do the visits the queen has to do.
DeleteThat is exactly my view. We have had so many busy prints of all kinds and flowers, for me enough of it.
DeleteÀ lovely summer dress!
ReplyDeleteYou look great, ma'am! ~J

DeleteQueen Mathilde is not called ma'am. It was the late Queen Elizabeth II of the U.K who was called like that. Formally Queen Mathilde is called
"Majesté". How she must be called by her personal staff members I don't know, but certainly not "ma'am", perhaps "madame".
Very nice, Mathilde looks great.
