Corpus Christi was celebrated on Thursday, June 19, 2025, in Monaco. This observance, established by Pope Urban IV in 1264, remains a tradition that the Monegasque Princely Family faithfully upholds. Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene watched the 2025 Corpus Christi celebrations and procession from the balcony of the Prince's Palace.

Celebrated on the Thursday following Trinity Sunday—60 days after Easter—Corpus Christi commemorates the “real presence” of Jesus Christ, particularly through the sacrament of the Eucharist. For the occasion, the royal couple appeared in coordinated navy blue ensembles. Princess Charlene wore a pleated cady dress by Joseph.

There is certainly an aura of contentment on Princess Charlene countenance. She seems happy and healthy. It’s good to see.
I like that she’s trying various designers, rather than her true and tested.

Gee I thought she used a variety of designers. PerhPs others would not suit her body type.

Agree Lowri. Do not understand your respondent 16:48’s point?

  4. Unfortunately we can't see the entire dress on Charlene, the posture of the model is poor and the flat shoes are not giving it the best presentation. I had to use my imagination to see that this is a great dress. The blue colour is vivid and the construction is complicated with all the pleating. It's an unusual design that is really quite stunning.

Agree, Sandra, that the design is difficult to figure out. I would have said much too plain a design for the price, but having spent time with this brand before, will guess that the fabric is high quality. The top looks better on Charlene than the model due to her broad swimmer’s shoulders, in fact, very flattering for her shape. The positioning of the waist also works better for Charlene, so probably if we saw it full length, it would be all up a flattering garment, although very average in the marketing pics.

Yes the best chance ever to buy a Charlene outfit! She tends to opt for very high price garments so this one (viscose, normally £600) is a steam!

I like this dress as much as we see, nice colour. For me I like to see necklace or some bling only because I like beautiful jewels. I know it is a solemn occasion.

These celebrations and procession are not taking place in my country anymore since a long time. I cannot remember when it happened for the last time.
Princess Charlene is wearing a beautiful dress. The colour blue seems to be the color for this ceremony.
