At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Chile, Gabriel Boric Font, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde are undertaking a state visit to Chile. On the first day of the visit, Queen Mathilde visited Coaniquem, a center that provides free care for children with burn injuries. Coaniquem collaborates with the University of Antwerp and the Belgian research and training center Oscare on scar treatment, research, and professional training.
The Corporación de Ayuda al Niño Quemado (COANIQUEM) is a private non-profit organization in Chile dedicated to supporting burn-injured children in Chile, Latin America, and the Caribbean through its four rehabilitation centers located across the country.
Every inch a queen and better dressed than her neighbour college of the north.
ReplyDeleteImpressed with the quality of the fabric and vibrant color with the little slits.
Hair a bit matronly just shake the head a little haha.
Why always the need to criticize Queen Maxima even when a post is not about her? Just limit the commentary to the fashion that, in this case, Queen Mathilde is wearing here. This post is about her.
DeleteLet’s not be too quick to compare, her colleague from the North (queen Maxima) has her own elegant charm and presence. Style is so personal, and what suits one may not suit another. Both bring their own grace in different but equally lovely ways.
DeleteWhy do you think Queen Maxima is meant here?? There are more “ colleagues of the north”: Sonja, Margaretha, Mary, Silvia
DeleteThat’s easy one to answer. It says her neighbour colleague from the north. So it’s queen Maxima of course!
DeleteThat’s an easy to answer: it says neighbour queen from the north. Obviously it’s Queen Máxima!
DeleteCome on Anonymous25/6/25 11:51; it is clear that the post is about Queen Maxima... don't pretend that there is enough choice to guess who is meant with the (your?) comment and then, in case the original post was by you, honestly admit who's meant
DeleteThe dress is a rewear of 2023. I like her in that dress with a pencil skirt and no belt. Her red clutch is by Armani.
ReplyDeleteLes couleurs rose et rouge se marient très bien.
ReplyDeleteMoi-même j’aime les arborer.

Wow I really like this dress, so pretty. I love how she is totally engaged with the people she speaks with.
ReplyDeleteI love that in these photos , it is very unlikely that anyone who actually works in the department, is not in the photos. Those photos are only for bigwigs who rarely work.
ReplyDeleteI noticed too that the crowd of “important people” must overwhelm the children with burns. I hope that was just for the photos and that Mathilde got some time to talk quietly and encourage the patients.

DeleteA perfect example of a few pictures which are not showing everything.
I am convinced that Queen Mathilde also asked to be able to talk to the doctors and nurses who are looking after these children. On picture N° 4, I see someone in a white doctors blouse who is explaining at Queen Mathilde what injuries the patient is suffering of.
Don't forget that they can count on the support of the Belgian University of Antwerp and the Belgian research and training centre for burn injuries and scar treatment Oscare. Isn't it normal then that Queen Mathilde pays a visit to the patients of this centre to see how they are cooping.
Beautiful dress, fabulous fit and lovely colours. Mathilde knocks it out of the park.

Les couleurs rouge et fuchsia se combinent bien surtout pour la blondeur de la reine !
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely lovely in this good dress!
ReplyDeleteI really like the colours of this dress. The fit is good and I think the v neckline is quite flattering. Not sure the bottom curve of the sleeves add anything but the tailoring looks so precise I want to like that detail.
ReplyDeleteI know that some people find this colour combination interesting and vibrant. But I have a hard time warming up to it. To me, these two colours will never go together well, and the way the colour blocking is done doesn´t help. It looks like a strapless pink dress with a red blouse worn underneath. I do like the slit design in the skirt, and I wonder if the whole dress had worked better for me if the neckline had a similar shape mirroring the skirt slit, much like the sleeves do.
