On Wednesday, May 7, 2025, Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa, along with Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie, inaugurated the first edition of the “Luxembourg Urban Garden” (LUGA) in the Pétrusse Valley—an open-air exhibition featuring urban gardens, landscape installations, and agricultural projects.
After the official opening, Their Royal Highnesses, accompanied by Minister Martine Hansen, Luxembourg City Mayor Lydie Polfer, Ettelbrück Mayor Bob Steichen, and LUGA Coordinator Ann Muller, toured 11 gardens created by national and international artists in the transformed Pétrusse Valley. The exhibition remains open to the public until October 18, 2025.
Oh my goodness, but they all look so tired.The men are well dressed for the occasion, and GD Maria Theresa is drowning in her favorite voluminous style. It is the horrid pants Princess Stephanie is wearing. Even a sharp crease would have made a bit of a difference. The bland T-shirt top is a definite no and the jacket needs structure. It has to be so frustrating to spend so much money and look so poorly put together. There have to better stylists.
ReplyDeleteOn pic1, Stephanie's trousers appear as they all do for wide-legged ones, in a soft fabric. She obviously does not wish to appear differently than today's young women. Personally I rather rarely like her handbags, but that is not an issue.

DeleteHow do you know she spends much money to buy her clothes ? The other ladies (minister and mayors) are dressed in white jackets too and their pants fit better, because they are wearing straighter pants. As long as Hereditary GD Stéphanie doesn't care what she wears, she will never be dressed beautifully. GD Maria Teresa is rarely dressed well either. She has some beautiful outfits, but a very little quantity. They both have the opportunity to have made their clothes according their measurements, but they don't use it. I don't think they have stylists. Not every royal lady has one.
Es ist Frühling, Maienluft und da wäre ein schwungvolles Kleidchen auch in Urbaner Landschaft perfekt gewählt gewesen. Nun dieses weiße an Oberteilen wie schrecklich und wo bitte findet man solche Hosen? Wie schade, das der Erbherzogin scheinbar niemand hilft, schon fast traurig so eine wunderschöne Frau. The green dress is only partially visible but what I can see seems to be quite a good middle way, not too tight and not too much volume, seems to be a simple dress in a nice colour. Stephanie's green pants are fashionably non-tight which is OK in every respect, tight would not serve her well anyway and it looks good with the simple but definitely nice white jacket. What I sure don't like is the shoe colour, it seems to be white and this is for me a no-go with green pants. Light beige/taupe would have been better.
ReplyDeleteOuf, je ne peux pas parler d'élégance chez Maria-Teresa et Stéphanie ; par contre, c'est Guillaum!e qui remporte la palme avec le costume gris, la cravate rose ainsi que la pochette blanche !
ReplyDeleteWell I am on the fence, the choices are okay not everyone is tall and pencil thin.It must be that the proportions are off. Perhaps the jacket on Stephanie is the wrong shape, a more structured cut might be better. I love her purse. She has a very elegant sophisticated look about her, comfortable with who she is.
ReplyDeleteGD - the color of her dress is beautiful, I love this shade of green. Not really sure what she is wearing, style wise. Stephanie, not sure about the jacket, not well fitted? or is it the shape? The men are well groomed and attired.
