Dutch Queen Maxima paid a working visit to the Father Center Adam (Vadercentrum Adam) in The Hague, which is a social center and one of the winners of the Appeltje of Orange. This award is presented to successful social initiatives that involve people in society. The Father Center serves for men and women in the Laakkwartier district.
The Queen first toured the building, where various activities take place. All activities, including a giveaway shop, a food bank and the neighborhood fathers project, are a means to speak with local residents about what they need. In this way, local residents are involved in developments in their neighborhood, and they can also work as volunteers.

Overall not a bad outfit but I would have worn dark plain pants to break up the pattern a bit.

I like the patterned ensemble as it is. Regarding hair styling, after comparison with photos on 26/04, I would conclude that she has extensions here.
DeleteOn May 6 she went to the liberation concert and her hair was styled beautifully. On May 8 (2 days later) she visited the Fathers Center Adam in The Hague and her hair was still nice. Don't be surprised, next time when we'll see her, her hair might look much thinner in the ends than now. I think after she washed it, her hair will not look good anymore, unless she must appear at another event again and call a hairstylist to do it all over again or she will wear it in a little bun in the neck.

ReplyDeleteThe coat is beautiful, but I don't like the pants with this outfit. A black pair of pants would have looked better overall. Regardless she looks lovely, a very nice visit by the Queen.

I have the feeling that Queen Maxima is wearing a hair piece because there is a pin in a tell-tale spot, but I might be wrong. Hair pieces used to be worn a lot, uncomplicated and quick, why not? At any rate, her hair looks better than usual.
