On Thursday, February 15, Queen Maxima paid a working visit to the workshop De JoJo (Ontmoetingswerkplaats de JoJo), a residents' initiative run by volunteers in Sassenheim. The De JoJo was one of the winners of an Appeltjes van Oranje in October 2023. 40 volunteers run the place in Sassenheim where people can work together, learn from each other and be part of a strong community. The Appeltjes van Oranje is an annual award presented to three successful social initiatives that involve people in society.

I think the cape is a silly look which is a shame because the light gray shirt and trousers could be a good look, but they are not seen much. Her hair is the usual bad. A queen can and should do better.

DeleteI like Queen Maxima's outfit--the simple tonal blend of grays looks very sophistcated. As always two things--she looks like she is really enjoying herself and her hair is tragic unless she's used her hairstylist.

Lovely outfit for a working visit. Seems lately that she wears more simple models in uni colours. What a personality she is and so spontaneous.

I was getting worried.
I agree with @Janet 20:04 “the simple tonal blend of grays looks very sophistcated”.
@css 22:08 suggested “A little pop of colour would have been nice”.
But a little pop of colour would give Queen Max the green light for something OTT.
IMPORTANT : I think if Queen Max is going to be missing for a few weeks, she should phone Helen, our blog administrator, and let her know.
I’m sure I’m not the only one who worries about her.

ReplyDeleteIf you are from the Netherlands check with the local authorities in Sassenheim. They must be able to give the coordinates. I understood it was a local initiative for local people. Maybe they accept donations.
