Oh, no they look happy. What negativity can we spread...had to laugh when I read they spent 45 minutes more then planned talking to people outside, something else then the usually 15 min from someone who shall remain nameless ;) PS they look great. Love Meghans outdoor outfit. Ann

The Calvin Klein doudoune coat looks warm and snug.
I’m surprised that the Calvin Klein winter wear is at affordable prices.
The Duchess’s snow boots are by “Sorel.”
Sorel is a Canadian company established about 60 years ago.
Again, a company with affordable prices.
The Sorel snow boot products are well known amongst the royal ladies e.g. The Princess of Wales and others.

  5. These pictures make me happy! Meghan looks very good and seems to have great time with others. I love her cosy jacket and boots and the crispy white trousers. Harry doesn't look bad either.

I was almost depressed when reading the nasty comments of the previous post of Meghan. The same "she is not royal, she is not royal... she is not that and she is not this" and so on, from the people who obviously read and believe only gossips and of course their bible "Daily Mail". What a waste of time!

Exactly, I became depressed too reading those comments. It really makes one sad to see how nasty people can be. You begin to feel hopeless for the future of humanity after such an amount of petty hate. Those hate posts really are a waste of time and energy, both for the readers and the writers of those nasty comments (especially for the writers). So it's probably best to just ignore the haters in the future and enjoy the opportunity so see posts about the Sussexes too.

They look happy, nice that winter sports will also be included in the Invictus Games in the future.

I like Meghan's coat. I also have clothes by Calvin Klein. Good quality one can wear for years. The boots I don't like very much. There are other up to date snow boots I like more. Prince Harry is not dressed very well for the cold. Jeans are not recommended with cold temperatures. The cold does not seems to bother him : his neck is not covered and his jacket is not very thick. Of course he can wear thermic underwear and there are jackets in a special material which are thin but are warmer than a thick jacket (kind of thermic material too).

If it were really freezingly cold, you would see their breath becoming misty at least in some of the photos.

@Bea 17:46 That "couple who already have have millions of their own money" have also donated millions of their own money to the Invictus Games. They are being paid from a fund they helped to create.
Secondly, payments are made by the Board of Directors, who authorize or decline Invoices. If you have issue with how the Board is spending the IG funds, write to them to express your displeasure, not this blog.

@Anon 9:13 - They didn’t create the IG.It was created for Harry to have a purpose post his ‘party boy’ era.
As to whom has instructed the payment is neither here nor there. They could have done the honourable thing and refused, sighting they would pay for their travel themselves.
If you’re not comfortable reading my post,I would respectfully suggest scrolling past them, rather than instructing me on what I can and cannot write.
I understand that people support them both and that is a personal choice. I’m not pointing out anything other than facts. Bea

      Delete
    11. Anonymous17/2/24 16:53

@Bea: Respectfully, unless you were one of the original creators of the IG you can't say that it was solely created to give Harry a purpose, even though that may have been a factor. And even if it was..how many years ago was that? Can't things change? Over the years, the project has obviously become much more significant to him and his wife for all the effort and money they put into it..let alone the positive benefit(s) to the increasing number of veterans of all ages of our current war-torn world.
My previous comments have nothing to do with whether I like/support them or not. My comments about who has charge of the purse strings are factual and logical. Your assertion however, on a global forum of many viewpoints, on what is "the honorable thing to do", is personal and therefore debatable in the absence of all the facts.

My answer was to Bea because she found it a scandal that they spent money of the IG to hire a private jet and no they do not want a royal life like Prince William. They are there for the Invictus Games which were created by Prince Harry. Since I am not British I do not compare them with anybody than themselves. You and a lot of other people on this blog still do not understand what the difference is between privacy and a life where you are controlled from morning until evening and even at night, or when you have to go to the MD because you are not feeling well. A life where every move you make is reported to the press. A life where sometimes the press knew before yourself what you were supposed to do or where you were supposed to go that day. I do not wish it to anybody. Privacy does not mean you have to lock yourself up and never come out of your house. They have the right to earn their money like anybody else. Maybe you are jealous that they earn more money than you can dream of. I am not jealous of anyone who earns more money than me. I hope they found the peace they were looking for. I am happy with my life and I hope you are happy with yours. I just hope for myself, my family, for you, for them, for everybody that the future will bring peace for everybody and not war. If that should happen we have the right to complain, not now. We don't realize how good life is.

      @Anon:13.As I said previously.     15. Anonymous18/2/24 16:28

@Bea. May I respectfully ask for proof of this accusation? It seems to me, nobody but you has found out who paid for travel and accommodations. No doubt, some papers would have had a field-day, spreading this all over Page One, had they found out. Can you back up your claim? Since you're so adamant on this issue, I think you wouldn't mind to share your source and maybe provide a link. After all, accusing H&M of misspending IG funds is a serious accusation. Thanks. Sanna

    1. Just made a quick summary.
On Friday 16 February, you can note that 56 comments were made on this fashion blog regarding The Duke and Duchess’s visit to Canada.
Just a quick count shows that at least 27 comments didn’t make a mention about fashion; mainly made negative, derogatory comments about the Sussexes.
The remaining 29 comments were either concentrating 100% on fashion or a mix of fashion and some positive comments about the Sussexes.
It would be good if the anti-Sussexes found another site to express their views/opinions. There's plenty around.

Meghan looks great. This outfit (and the snow) makes her glow. I like the boots and coat, the rest I don't care much for. Maybe it is the weight-loss, but she has suddenly lost that youthfull look to her face and is looking her age - which is not a bad thing at all, I'm a huge supporter of aging gracefully so it is good to see people look their natural self. Usually that is the price we have to pay in the post 40, either you are slim or you add a little weight to gain the fat back to the face.

Lovely cause and I hope to catch the 2025 Invictus Games. I didn't care much for it last year due to location, my country is not on good terms with Germany.

Where do you read haters? Again, opinions are opinions, you should live with that.

Meanwhile, The Princess Royal, Princess Anne, the hardest working REAL Royal, is not Helen's focus on this blog, though she is fashionable, wears wonderful outfits, and the latest of her nearly DAILY engagements can be found https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-13092515/

Why not start your own blog then? Many of us love Helene’s choices of not just working royals but many royal adjacents. Princess Anne’s style is a great if you like recycling, at which she is clearly the winner. But I much prefer Duchess of Gloucester’s style . LRB

Yes…more of Princess Anne. She’s a hard working, smart, no nonsense lady who doesn’t suffer fools. She’s not a spoiled, not very intelligent whiner who is full of self pity over a very privileged life and would never throw her family under the bus. She knows how to be royal!

  32. There are so many new posts about H & M. Is this the new norm? Not trying to offend but it is a real downer to see them after they have incessantly trashed their "royal" family for years and have spread so much hate to their royal family. I come to this site to get a break from all the hate in this world so I'm going to have to find a new site for enjoyable reading if that's the case. I used to love them but there is no excuse for publicly trasing your own family repeatedly. Notice ho NO ONE who they trash reciprocated and there are always two sides to a story. That is what true class is. Those constantly saying they are the victim while throwing darts are not really the victims. The real victims are the ones they publically betrayed and trashed. Very sad to leave this blog.

Dear, do try to find new companions. I am truly distressed that the company you keep are forcing you to read entries on a fashion blog that distress you. No one should have to live that way. We should all be free to choose what we view and what we don't. You seem to be part of a group of victims that have been stripped of their freedoms. Everyone should have the the freedom to scroll by a post they believe will endanger their health! If you or any other visitors to this blog are being held captive and unable to exercise your right to scroll past posts, send a message. We will try to send you help.

At heart, she isn’t a person who understands personal style. She picks things despite them not being flattering on her. This coat is swallowing her up. The bright white skinny jeans, which are rather out of fashion, clash with the coat and ivory sweater. The black beanie does nothing for the outfit. She would have been better off picking black pants as that would have set off the coat and sweater better and coordinated with her hat. Grace
