  1. I noticed Kate has been favoring pants with blazers, pantsuits & jeans for over a month now. There haven't been too many skirts and dresses worn except for the beige ensemble last week. I'm not criticizing; it's just an observation.

I'm new at commenting here. I just wanted to say I really appreciate how the moderators don't censor comments. I noticed some people here get very upset and lash out at you if they don't agree with your views. While this can be upsetting, I think everyone has a right to freedom of speech and freedom of expression. I made a comment about royals and hair extensions last week and was subjected to some unfounded & disturbing accusations. But even though it was difficult to read these hostile responses I think it's worth it to preserve our rights. Some sites feel they have the right to police your thoughts and feelings. I hate censorship in all it's forms. Thank you to the moderators of this website.

    2. Most of the time it's not impinging on your right to say what you want that causes dissention, but HOW you express your point and the implied undertone of the expression.
I've come to realise that a vast number of the posters here are of 'a certain age' and time, and their thoughts and manner of expression reflect their past experiences. More importantly though, it would also seem that English is a second language for many (no criticism, just an observation) and therefore has an understandable bearing when reading and responding in what for them is a foreign language. Nuance is important but is also easily mis-interpreted when taken literally.
(And then of course, some comments are just plain nasty in any language, lol. Easy to spot those ones.)

    4. Hello new Anon! As this is a blog, the blog owner has no obligation to receive or keep any comments, so it’s not a matter of the right to free speech or censorship, but rather, what she would want on her blog. Because it is a public blog, anyone can read, and for the moment commenting is unrestricted. However because it’s public we also need to remember the young royals might also read this, and when other commenters tend to react against a comment is when there’s meanness. Unfortunately comments have gotten more mean over time, with commenters forgetting how what they write can injure feelings. So as someone else said, it’s how you write that counts. Best rule is comment on the fashion and the designers and not on the individual or what is personal to them ( which you can still think about but don’t have to write here, where someone connected with the Royal can find it and be hurt!). Cheers, AnneLise

    6. Dear @Anon 15:50 Welcome aboard to our little group of highly qualified fashion experts.
We are a great asset to the royal ladies.
They read our comments and often make changes as a result of them.
We are well respected by the royal ladies for our advice on bunions, ill fitting bras and undergarments, hair colouring and above all baggy pants.
We often have a cat fight amongst us but it doesn’t last long.
Helen, our blog administrator, spoils us with tons of photos and will only eliminate a comment if it is below the belt (fashion belt that is).
Enjoy the ride and please get a nickname so that we know your comments. .

    7. Thanks for your thoughts, AnneLise, Vieginia & others. I should says most people commenting here are intelligent & respectful. To be honest I noticed it was only one person in particular who made mean & spiteful accusations about me and some others. Hopefully this person will read these comments and try to become more understanding and kind going forward. And yes,, it's not what you say but how you say it that matters. And we should take into account language and cultural differences. By the way, my name is Sandra.

    9. Dear @Just Me, forgot to mention that Queen Maxima (Max to us) is our Honorary President and adviser on the fallout from fashion disasters.
Also that Helen is looking at supplying us with a wrinkle detecting machine which will give a wrinkle police less work.
But that’s a subject for another day.

    11. You know P. the original, results from our work can be seen with Camilla, the Queen of England who, thanks to us, has become an English fashion icon.
Her unbuttoned cardigan has become a “must have” in the London fashion world. It’s been reported that Valentino is negotiating designer rights and it will be included in his spring collection 2024.
Zara wants to do a copy but with a zip instead of the buttons.
I wouldn't be surprised if we get a thank you note from King Charles.😀

      Agreed, @ Deadeggs.
The unbuttoned cardigan was discovered first by you and then you allowed me to have my share in this momentous fashion turning point.
Yes, this piece of royal fashion rules in London and all over the world by now.
But nonotheless let's not forget that you and me first brought to light the newest brand, gem among fashion gems, called " Pas the noir" with its capsule collection " Pas de vert".
And Camilla's black boots are bound to become a must have in F/W 24 ( once again!)
You were the first one to find out their potential.
At this point of the story, a thank- you note by the King would be most welcome👍

  2. Beautiful pics - classy and elegant as always. You can´t go wrong with black&white. She is setting a trend with her Retro-Hairstyle looking like Charlie´s Angel. Her natural smile in the second pic is her best accessoire.

  3. I love this white Zara jacket, the design is perfect. The black pants and jacket look striking together. Very chic and stylish.

  4. Le double boutonnage de ce blazer blanc convient bien à Kate mais avec un pantalon d'une couleur comme du rouge, cela aurait été plus adéquat pour cette occasion !

  6. The outfit is smart and effective at projecting sporty elegance. I cannot say the same of her lanky hunks of hair that drag down her face and add nothing. She has a lovely face and it would be great if her hair framed it instead of detracting from it. Stephanie of Luxembourg has a terrific haircut that shows off both her hair and her face.

  7. Blazer looks nice. I would like to see Kate with a Lady in waiting, would be quite appropriate when she is attending overseas sporting functions alone. I like the look of the English rugby players; scary knees(Tara)

  8. I like the outfit very much but she seems to be having a slightly "bad hair day." No hate; just an observation. We all have them from time to time. Might have been humid. In any event, she might have done better to wear it in a neat ponytail.
