Pass this and keep on going: Short pants, on a short woman, never a good look. She looks to old for this outfit. I could see it on a 20-something, maybe.

Too old? Really? In your country people at 20s dress like this? Which part of the world?

    1. Queen Letizia is following Queen Maxima and wearing Capri pants (or pedal pushers).
Queen Maxima wore them on the first day of her visit this week to St Maarten.
The pants were big fashion in the 1950’s and 60’s. They have made several comebacks over the years and it appears they will be seen again in spring/summer of 2023. My mother wore pedal pusher/capri pants in the 1950’s but they were for practical reasons when riding her bicycle ; not for fashion.

Peddle pushers/Capri pants are not wide legged. These are culottes.

@Deadeggs: Sure Audrey Hepburn was NOT your mother! How is hubby by the way? Siv

    4. @ Siv. Audrey Hepburn, no. My dear old mum had a bit more padding on her than Audrey Hepburn.
Kind of you to ask about ‘hubby’.
He’s good but still obsessed with his fishing.
BUT I never complain, never explain.
You know, maybe there’s some royal blood somewhere in my family

From the part of the world where I came from, Culottes, from the French word "culot,"are knee-length trousers that are cut to very closely resemble a skirt.
But in different parts of the world, names and interpretations can change.
From a practical point of view, in a hot or tropical climate, capri pants, pedal pushers and the likes are a godsent.

First I thought what a beautiful silk dress, model and colour. Then I saw it was a jumpsuit. Such a pity

    1. It's neither a dress or a jumpsuit, it's a top and separate pants.

It is not a jumpsuit, pants and blouse.

    3. Ve al oftalmólogo. No es un vestido ni un mono. Ni siquiera has mirado las fotos del modelo, pero aquí estás escribiendo bobadas.

    4. I also think this would have been an absolute knockout as a dress. However, while, I am no fan of the cropped trousers look, I have to concede that the beautiful fabric and colour make this outfit a winner

  10. La regina di Spagna sembra una dodicenne a spasso col papà.
Troppo tutto rosa, troppo corti i pantaloni, troppo "pigiamino" il colore.

Such a pity she wore flared cropped pants. Otherwise, it would have been a nice outfit. Capri pants are a casual pant, meant to be worn with flats, not sky high heels.

Actually, Hugo Boss does not think the same, the model wears high heels too.

  14. I can’t agree. To me it looks like she woke up and didn’t have time to change out of her pajamas or she just ran out of things to wear. This outfit TO ME looks like a big nope.

Tell them to look into all the corrupt dealings. It is Africa. I know what I'm talking about . Just drive 1 mile out of the CBD area and go see the absolute poverty and inhumane surroundings their people needs to face on a daily basis. F the dress code and do something positive
