Mary has such natural elegance and dignity while remaining approachable. This is a lovely re-wear that is perfect for the occasion.

I think Mary looks a bit underdressed? I think it's the neckline that makes the outfit a bit too casual for this occasion. Maybe I'm wrong, we don't have a picture of the whole look. She does look great, hair and make-up wise.

Agree. That dress looks like night robe to me.

Mary is wearing the Italian brand Etro inspired probably by Asian clothing. Why ? Nothing wrong with the dress ( even great)but why at these occasions not promoting a Danish design or wearing a Vietnamese designer.

I agree with you. Mary thinks the design/style/pattern is reflecting the culture of the country she is visiting and is therefore a tribute to the culture but in fact it is a bit ignorant. She should wear Danish or Vietnamese designers like you say. The Etro dress is just a fashion item. But Mary has done this before when going abroad.

This kimono style dress is beautiful and we have seen it before. A good choice to include it on this tour. CP Mary is always elegant and but never over the top. Another beautiful traditional dress worn by the President or is she the vice President ?

Fantastic dress and great for this location. I hope we had a photo of her shoes, but I will assume hopefully that she wore the same fabulous shoes in the photo from a previous wear!

We saw CP Mary wearing this dress on several occasions. The dress has a bit of an oriental kimono style and is very appropriate for this event. The colors suit CP Mary very well. Her black hair done in updo like this makes her look a bit like an oriental beauty herself.

We aren’t oriental, we are Asian. Oriental is food, furniture etc., we are Asian people.

It’s the dress that’s being described as oriental, not a person so where is the problem?

Oriental beauty refers to Mary - so that's where the problem is.

  9. This is a beautiful printed silk dress. I dont normally like hemlines such as this but this dress is stunning. Another beautiful printed dress in mauve in the 2nd last photo, gorgeous dress.

  10. Mary a su ressortir cette superbe robe en soie imprimée ; j'entrevoie des boucles d'oreilles pendantes qui mettent en valeur son port de tête surtout avec les cheveux relevés !

This is a very beautiful dress for the occasion. I prefer it with Mary's hair down as previously worn, but that's just a minor remark.

I love how CP Mary is digging deep into her wardrobe and rewearing and altering some of her ensembles. This is a beautiful dress, and Mary wears it well. She is blessed with great posture, and it reflects well in what she wears.

  15. This dress looks much better with CP Mary's hair up. Don't know why--it felt kind of dressing gown/kimono to me when worn previously. It's a fabulous colour as is the Vice President's dress.
