On October 21, as the goodwill ambassador of UNESCO for 25 years, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa attended the official unveiling of the UNESCO plaque at the Primary School Bonnevoie (Ecole Primaire Bonnevoie) on the occasion of the integration of the school into UNESCO's network ASPnet, which is made up of 11,528 establishments spread across 182 countries. In Luxembourg, 14 primary and secondary schools are members of the ASPnet.

The Bonnevoie school is the first primary school in the capital Luxembourg City, which became an official member of ASPnet and which was able to receive the UNESCO plaque. Since 2019, the Bonnevoie primary school has been involved as a volunteer in the Network of Associated Schools of UNESCO (ASPnet), and since June 2020, it has been a full member of the network of UNESCO project schools.

  2. She should stay away from the large trousers in general. I think she could wear a dress like the lady in the electric blue one with the black boots.

    1. Yes! Less trousers, especially those large patterned ones, instead I think she would look much better in skirts and dresses.

    2. Yes I agree that she should stay away from the wide-legged pants, they are a wrong choice for her. She seems to have opted firmly for trousers, they are so comfortable; wide skirts would not be good for her neither. The narrow skirts have been on fashion for so long, so many women no longer like to wear them.

  3. Great look for the Grand Duchess! I also prefer her hair in this softer version.

  4. Sloppy blouse, too low cut for this occasion, especially bending over to converse with young children. Pants far too wide and dumpy looking, meaning the entire outfit is a no for me. Annie

  5. I usually dislike her tops, seems to me like they are about to open up, or kind of hanging. And agree she could use dresses with a more simple line

  6. This is another oversized outfit which certainly is not conventionally flattering on a petite, round figure. I don’t love this look on her. (V.M.)

  7. What is the state of affairs of the investigation into her bullying staff?

    1. Good question.
Maybe you could find some information on a non-fashion Royal site.
      Or give Google a try.
I'm all ears if you find out anything.

    2. @ Dear Elisabeth. The latest news I can pick up via Google, is from February 2021.
I think what was said in this article was the end to the story. Read it via .......... https://delano.lu/article/delano_grand-duchess-alleges-misogyny-role-palace-pruned

    3. @deadeggs. This is a category of discussions which should not be described on a fashion blog. You first give her good advice to look on a non-fashion royal site. Then you are doing research yourself and give her the web address. It is about the same as writing about the problems they had at the Grand Ducal Chateau in Luxemburg.

Have you ever heard of the expression “you’ve got egg on your face”?

  8. Sounds like I may be in the minority on this one, but I think this outfit works for her. The bright colored blouse makes her face shine and the pants pattern brings much more interest than a plain single color. Also, the waistline is high, making her legs look longer.

I thought high waistlines had to be avoided (Queen Mathilde, Princess Sofia,...). I can't see that for GD M. Teresa it would work.

  9. This is quite a pretty combination, I love the colors.

  10. With all respect, the Grand Duchess Maria Teresa tries hard but IMO she often comes up with fashion failures. In photo N° 8 the four ladies with her look much better than GDMT in her pants and top.
She gets top marks for the work she does; There are top name fashion houses and designers in Luxembourg that , I'm sure, would jump at the chance of working with her.

  11. I like the colour combination and in general, I don't mind this floaty style. It looks like a very comfortable outfit to walk around, sit, stretch, bend... so good for this type of engagement. My only quibble is the slightly messy neckline of the blouse. It's not M-T's fault, though, these flowy blouses sadly aren't really designed with a larger bust in mind.

  12. Not a fan of this outfit. A bit too relaxed for my taste.css
