On July 14, the Duchess of Cornwall hosted a reception to celebrate the 160th Anniversary of the Battersea Dogs and Cats Home animal welfare charity at Clarence House in London. Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, now known as Battersea, is an animal rescue centre for dogs and cats. Battersea rescues dogs and cats until an owner or a new one can be found.

Love seeing the Duchess re-wearing so many of her light summer dresses. This must be the third or fourth in a row that we've seen in recent days and it's one of the nicest in my opinion - lovely colours and fabric pattern, lovely style with the white detailing, and most importantly it fits her well.
All these dresses are simple and nice and are more than worth a couple of re-wears. I'm glad to see her doing just that.

Another pretty summery look from the Duchess! I love that she supports Battersea (I have a rescue dog and have had several others over many years). I wonder her two rescued dog joined in the event as I think both came from Battersea. Love the sweet dogs that are shown as part of the party.

I have had and have just rescue dogs. They are the best! No need to breed dogs!

So glad that we’re back to her regular style. Much better than the carnival dress. Love the white dress with the yellow pattern. AnnieM

Always nice to see the Dss out and about. I believe she is a patron of Bathersea. She really enjoys her work. Lovely dress again today. I also like to wish her a very happy 75th Birthday and many more. josebabe

  7. I love this dress, very becoming, suiting her beautifully. I like the addition of the white strip's adding interest. The sleeves and neckline are lovely, length of dress is good.

As this is a fashion blog the dogs are pretty cute. The lady with the white and yellow dress on looks so nice and summery ;and her shoes are on point. D.C looks like the dress is old and tired; even though she says she is not about fashion; she needs to lift her game perhaps she needs some tips from Her Majesty; as she is never out of style.(Tabby)

I am all for dog rescue's and the hard work they do for the creatures that come to their centers. However, the video of this is more like a commercial than what can be done to curb the reasons the dogs are left abandoned and in need of rescuing. Seems more like a PR campaign for Camilla than anything else.

No, it's a PR campaign for Battersea of which Camilla is patron.
