  2. Pretty dress, but an odd choice for an official dinner, and for late winter. This dress has summer garden party written all over it.

I see that (royal) women and people in general do not pay as much attention to their outfits than before the pandemic and the situation in East Europe. Official dinner or not they wear the clothes they have in their closet and do not buy a new dresses, pant suits, shoes or handbag... Sometimes they do not go to the hairdresser and do their brushing or updo themselves.

Yes, a light garden party dress.
Hope there is good airconditioning in the place where she is attending the dinner.
New York in March can be very cold.
Not the best choice IMO for such an event.

  3. With the two photos, both of her sitting, I cannot see enough to know if I like this dress. Is she wearing a contrasting belt? Is the length too long for her? What shoes is she wearing? I do like the colorful print and the neckline. Perhaps more photos will be posted later.

She has been wearing this dress last year during the summer. If I remember correctly it is the dress that she was wearing on the photo which has been chosen for their Christmas card 2021. I think she was wearing light grey shoes with it. Since the picture was taken abroad in the fields Prince Edward was wearing a pair of Willy's. My reaction then on this blog was that the photo for the Christmas card was composed of 2 individual photo's of the couple. Maybe I will do an effort to find this photo again on the internet.

In the meantime I found the Christmas card 2021. It is not the same dress. Prince Edward was wearing a kilt and the stockings that go with it. I'm sorry, I thought I recognized the dress but it was a mistake. Maybe we will see a better photo of the dress and belt soon.

  4. I will be honest--I am generally not a fan of print dresses. Just too busy for my personal taste. I try hard to not allow my personal preference dictate my opinion of someone else in a print (I typically like Queen Elizabeth's spring/summer floral prints). But, I don't like this dress from what I can see on the model--hopefully Sophie's choice of how to style it looks good on her.

  5. This is a very pretty dress. Its hard to see whether the dress has been accessorised, regardless Sophie looks lovely.

Cannot see enough of the rest of the outfit and accessories to know what this outfit really is. Elena
