King Philippe and Queen Mathilde visited the emergency reception center set up last Friday by FEDASIL for refugees from Ukraine who have no accommodation in Belgium. The King and Queen then visited the former elderly home "Home Sebrechts", where Ukranian refugees are given an emergency place to stay for a few days. The former elderly home Sebrechts re-opened as an emergency facility for refugees, by the Red Cross on March 4.

The coat she wears today is new since last year. It fits QM well. It is still cold in the morning, last night it was the first night without t° below zero. The colours of the coat are appropriately for the circumstances.
Let us hope the refugees find a place where they can stay as long as needed.

Wow I love this coat on her! It’s such a lively and interesting print that reminds me of some of her Dries van Noten pieces. (V.M.)
