    1. Queen Silvia started this foundation and Madeleine has actively worked with it for many, many years. Madeleine is strongly committed to its mission and goals. She has taken the lead on many initiatives and programs including the publication of a children's book. You can say "nepotism" but I use the word "earned". Madeleine earned this promotion.

    2. It comes with the title. What's wrong with that. She could do a better job with publicity and funds.

    3. On the contrary, Madeleine has been involved with the organization for many years. She's done a lot of great work for it.

    4. As a firstborn Victoria will take over her father's work one day; she's been prepared for this.
Madeleine has worked with the WCF for more than a decade now. Work with the children has been close to her heart, she knows WCF inside and out. I expected she will be the one to take over (Silvia is 78 and she will want to slow down).
But Madeleine's years of work, dedication, contribution to WCF shouldn't count at all because she's her mothers daughter????
Sorry, I don't think so! Congratulations and well deserved!

    5. I see no reason for Denise's comment; I think Madeleine has been involved for many years and is the right person to take over eventually the task of Qn Silvia.

  2. I watched/heard the video for this. I am assuming that Madelaine has been taking elocution lessons to improve her English pronunciation. She has succeeded immensely in mastering the spoken word. Her English pronunciation and diction were perfect, polished and eloquent. Sounds very different from just a very few years ago.

  3. Yes, it is nepotism , but the whole organization is just another beauty facade of those living in opulence allegedly helping the vulnerable. Since 1999, the organization has distributed $60 million to 600 projects in various countries. Its intent is to help and raise awareness. The website asks you to donate and arrange fundraising. In comparison, in 2019, the Swedish monarchy cost the taxpayer $7.5 million, which makes $75 million in ten years, and $150 in twenty years. The king's private property amounts to $70 million. There were other organizations already doing the job, but that was not the point, was it.

I am sick and tired of multi-millioners asking others to donate to the multi-millioners' cause to 'raise awareness'. - As for Madeleine; it is more than likely that in a year or two there will be a special occasion to present her with a Special Trophy for the hard work she has done. - Ellie

  7. People it is about the fashion, shoes and their hair on this site.
Don't bicker about what the cause is.
They both look lovely and it is lovely to see mother and daughter together for Christmas.

  9. La mère et la fille savent s'impliquer dans cette fondation - Madeleine est toujours aussi magnifique ; sa belle chemise blanche paraît être en satin ou peut-être que je me trompe ?!

  11. Childhood is and was an organisation created by Queen Silvia ... and Princess Madeleine will replace her and take over one day.
In a way it is a kind of family fund, IMO. /Mille 💙💛

  12. Fashion: The Queen's dress and lipstick are finally the same shade!

Hair: Not one comment on hair envy here, Madeleine's hair changes color as often as the wind blows, and we all would like a stylist to make our hair 'camera ready'.

For those picking apart the royal family, let us know what you feel about the Dutch family and their spending habits, or the rest of the royals. Merry Christmas to all. Gemma

    1. I am in trouble understanding the 2 last § of Gemma : Madeleine's hair is not "camera ready"? Really ? And I thought this article was about the Swedish RF not the Dutch !?
