  1. A big bow for these women. They surely know how to dress well.
Not everybody can wear yellow, Rania can. Sheika Moza bint Nasser is the winner for me ( if there is such a competition )): Stripes with lace but it really works! -Anna-

  2. I generally find Queen Rania's style very trendy and chic, she takes chances with fashion, but this is a total no for me, too much mustard that blends with her coloring, and looks busy , the shiny brocade fabric looks more appropriate for upholstery. The Sheikka is so naturally elegant and her presence so attractive, that almost everything she wears works for her, she makes this blouse that would look unflattering on most women, look good.

    1. The plans are probably that Rania will wear this outfit only once. If so, ok for me.

    2. As always Cherry Blossom your assessment is so good. It is interesting that this is Erdem whose creations I do not automatically like.

  3. Élégantes toutes les deux même si j'ai une nette préférence pour Rania dans ce jaune foncé qui se marie à merveille avec la couleur de ses cheveux ; il est vraiment dommage de ne pas mieux voir son petit sac à mains !

  4. I am not a fan of Queen Raina’s fashion choice, nearly never, and this time Sheila Moza puts her in her shadow: what a very handsome, welldressed lady she is, never saw her before,

  5. I am not a fan of those middle east fashion choices either. On the one hand they are trying to copy western Queen's and Princesses and on the other it still remembers their own fashion of kaftan's, headbands, etc... Always long sleeves, high necks, (probably because of their religion). The color of Queen Rania's ensemble doesn't work for her. The fabric doesn't look very good. I also wonder why she must dye her hair into blond. It doesn't match with her roots. When she is visiting the ordinary women of her people she almost never covers her hair. Can she do that because she is a queen ? This is not a comment. I just wonder why ?

  6. @MJ, there is nothing “ Middle Eastern” as you put it about these outfits. Queen Raina sometimes chooses ethnically inspired outfits, although most of the time she wears high couture. She does wear modest clothing, as do the Japanese Royal House , it’s cultural.
Her hair is not blond, and the different tones are trendy, and it’s called bayalage, some like it some don’t. Unlike Sheikka Jawaher who always covers her hair in public, Rania chooses not to, not because she is a Queen, but because some Jordanian women don’t follow the tradition and she is one of them.

    1. @CB It is spelled balayage and the result is blond. Compare with photo's taken a couple of years ago and you will see a big difference. I said I wasn't a fan of the choices the Middle Eastern Queens, Princesses and Sheikka's make. You can hardly compare it to the "modest" clothing of the Japanese Royal House. It is a fact that the Jordanian women Queen Rania visits sometimes are covered up from head to toe. Perhaps they belong to a tribe or something. I just wanted to mark the big difference between the way she and the other Jordanian women are dressed. When she goes there she is not wearing "high couture" of course. In fact it is good that the women in Jordan have the right to follow or not the tradition which cannot be said of every islamic country.

  7. @ MJ, what do you mean "they" are trying to copy western queens? Middle Eastern, Asian and African women choose western clothing as the please. I find your comment rather discriminatory. They wear their traditional outfits whenever they feel like it and the occasion calls for it. Rania's hair is not blond, period, but even if it was, she has the same right to color her hair as Catherine, Maxima, Letizia or anybody else.

  9. MJ, correcting the spelling of what is an obvious case of fat finger, doesn’t make you sound smart. Your comments continue to be appalling. Full stop. And NO her hair is not blonde. This is probably not the best venue to discuss Islam, or any other religious affiliations. Put your agenda where it belongs.
