  1. Ce modèle de manteau aux petits motifs modernes et à la ligne sobre convient bien à sa silhouette ; élégants mocassins qui sont très tendance actuellement !

  2. It has been rather sad to look at her since a while, it seems that the latest developments regarding ex-king Juan Carlos are still causing damage among public opinion.

Appropriate, simple but efficient outfit. I cannot help but notice that Letizia has the best tailored trousers out there, they always fit like a glove, which is very rare for women's trousers, even on the models you will more often than not see unflattering creases and folds - not on Letizia! I really envy her for that. My other observation for today, just because I am always drawn to the details: I find it curious that her hair is going grey by strands... I usually see that the hair starts going grey at the roots and more or less at the same time all around the head, but in her case we see only one particular strand on the right side that seems to have gone grey in its entire length while all her roots are still dark. Do you think she colours the rest of her hair and leaves this strand au naturel to add interest? Trivial, I know, I have many more important things to think about in my life, but just a little distraction and escape from the daily doom and gloom :-)

When my father's black hair started turning grey, at first he also had a clear strand of grey on his head. So, that does happen.

Totally agree regarding top-notch tailoring of trousers.

Side note, my platinum hair is like hers too, strand sections, I love it on both her and me! Great frisure when my ensemble includes black, and also light pink (which I rarely wear).

    Beautifully professional as usual!

I actually want to see her take the route of salt-n-pepper hair, instead of dying her greys. Her hair has excellent texture and she can pull it off methinks.

She looks so stylish! I know that she is being COVID conscious but I won't begrudge her if she were to have a haircut.

Letizia shows us how important it is to have a wardrobe of classic, solid separates. A change of outerwear, shoes, or accessories can create an entirely new outfit. She is impeccably tailored, and professional even though she is a little more casually dressed. I love this topper. The pattern is interesting but not distracting, and works well in a professional setting.

    2. Absolutely agree. She shows us time and time again how to mix and match a wardrobe with tailored, classic pieces (that are most often quite accessible). This coat is fabulous, and the basics are beautiful as well. Just goes to show how tailoring makes all the difference.

  9. I think she looks fabulous with the perfectly tailored black pants and top, and the black and white textured coat for a bit of contrast. I love her hair with the few grey strands. I think she is a woman who has an innate sense of style and rarely misses the mark.

    Simple, timeless and elegant look.
I know many people may be embarrassed to wear a mask in public, but there is nothing to be ashamed of. Its so refreshing to see Queen Letizia always wearing face mask and looking so comfortable with it.
I am not allowed to work from home, so I travel to work daily and also wear mask. Its refreshing to see that some royals also do so and go to work. I'm tired of royals posing in front of their computer for their single digital meeting.

How do you know it's their single digital meeting?

If they went out when they don't have to they would be criticised for that.

Damned if they do, damned if they don't.

Digital meetings strike me as being perfectly sensible.

Because the court's website have only 1 digital meeting listed. If they have more, then why not list those meetings, too?
Personally I'm so tired of those photos of digital meetings other royal houses post. Ordinary people go to work. They often don't even have the luxury of their own car and use public transport. They keep distance, wear masks, so far no one has been infected.
I much admire Spanish royals. Belgian royals have been also very good and supportive during this time. Also Princess Sofia of Sweden who volunteered at the hospital.

You're kidding, right? Ordinary people who go to work haven't been infected?

Other royal families following the guidelines in their own countries have also been working. Only public duties listed, private meetings not.

The British Royal Family carried on making appearances and were roundly criticised on this blog.

People do what they can according to the circumstances they are in. Plenty of royals (and non-royals) have done just as much or more than the families you mention.

I have to work online. I assure there is just as much effort involved as in physically being present. Just because something is being done digitally doesn't mean it's fake work.

Anonym. 8:39PM: Has being indoors, working online has affected your reading abilities? Where did I say that ordinary people haven't been infected? Where did I say work online is fake?
I live in Sweden. Me and my friends are not given the privileges to work from home, We have to risk our health to go to work and earn our living. Two of my friends who refused to wear mask in public transport, have been infected but thanfully they recovered. Its double standards if we clap our hands for royals working at home and at the same time we go to work at a workplace and take the risks.
Personally I find it refreshing to see Spanish royals, especially Queen Letizia going out and do her work. Wearing masks and keeping distance. Haven't heard that she's been infected.

Most people in Spain has not the privilege to work at home either, not everybody works in an office...nurses, meds, bus drivers, taxi drivers, bars, restaurants cinemas, theatres, shops, factories, petrol stations, hairdressers, journalits, and so on...

Anon 9:39 - no problem with my reading abilities. "Ordinary people go to work. They often even don't have the luxury of their own car and use public transport. They keep distance, wear mask, so far no one has been infected." Um...?

The implication is that people who do their work digitally aren't really working - you can say you didn't say that but when you use the word "posing" it's there.

Also, I live in the UK. It isn't a "privilege" to work from home - it's annoying, limiting and bloody hard work. I don't have the choice - it's the law for my job. We are locked down. And I'm lucky - other can't work at all or have lost their jobs. There are no hairdressers, theatres, bars, cinemas open here and only shops selling necessities are open.

I can't speak for other Royal Families but that explains all the digital appointments for the BRF and lack of public appearances in the flesh. So I do applaud them for continuing to do something via computer when it isn't possible to do otherwise.

I'm glad that in some countries the situation is enough under control that there is some kind of normality. I cannot wait for that to be the case here.

I, too, much prefer to see the Royals out and about but there are different situations in different places and people do what they can to stay in line. And I have a lot of time and admiration for Queen Letizia so I am also pleased to see her maintaining her work agenda.
