This is very stylish and modern on Mary.
Real Max Mara: allways simple and good.

At first I thought "well, a grey jacket is a grey jacket ...", but the exciting part begins with the waistline, when the jacket shows us that it is not a jacket at all. Businesslike meets feminine attractivity, very well done.

Couldn't agree more. What a perfect explaination.

  3. She looks gorgeous while sitting`down but I am not too mad about the fit of the trousers around the hip area. I think I just hate shorter length narrow bottomed trousers with stilettos. I never find it very elegant. Still the overall effect is very soignee.

Agree in every detail. I do not like stilettos with this trouseres (cut).

  4. I normally am not a fan of jumpsuits but this one works because at first glance it looks like a plain old regualr suit. I know the top portion is designed to be men's cut/relaxed but I think it would look better on Princess Mary if it were even more fitted. She's a bit petite and this cut swallows her.

  5. Reminds me of a modern 80's power suit, in all the right ways. I love a good jumpsuit, and I'm glad she didn't go with anything underneath (like the model). Good choice of simple accessories.

What can be said about perfection?
    Chapeau, Mary!

  7. Quelle belle silhouette dans cette combinaison au décolleté bien gracieux qu'elle porte mieux que le mannequin ; qui pourrait dire dans quel tissu ce modèle a été créé ? Merci par avance !

Great jumpsuit. It has been well tailored to her body. Love the ponytail.

  9. A Jump suit - I assume it's 2 pieces - no, this one is a miss for me.
Colour, style, shoes. But why not try something different, it is everyone prerogative
We don't have to like everything the Royal Ladies wear, and this is a fashion Blog, so I feel free to critique. In my humble opinion this does not look right, the tucked in jacket (or blouse?), the pleats, the fake zipper, the length, the stilettos. This is a odd look, PC Mary can do much better.

No, it's a jumpsuit - from Max Mara.

I also don't think it works- I don't like how it sits around the hips and I don't like the length. I do like the colour.

  10. Janine, why do you feel compelled to elaborate about feeling free to dissent. People disagree about fashion all the time, and that is what makes this blog interesting.. speaking of disagreeing, I love the entire outfit, color, length , business meets femininity. Also love the hair and shoes.

She looks lovely when standing, however the trousers when she's sitting down, with the very high heels looks a bit odd.
