On June 8, 2020, Crown Princess Mary of Denmark attended the official opening of new Holmegaard Works Museum. With focus on danish design, Holmegaard Works (Holmegaard Værk) is a new museum for the nation's greatest designers and artists. Danish glassmaker Per Lütken worked at Holmegaard from 1942 until his death in 1998, creating some of the factory's finest pieces and all-time classics, such as the 'Idelle' series, the 'Ships glasses' and the 'Provence' bowls. I like this outfit. Midi skirts are starting grow on me. I think the key are the shoes. Wrong type of shoe or heel height and it just looks wrong or a little to casual when meant to be dressy or business-like.

On a side note; I guess Denmark is all done with masks and social distancing and the whole lot. Wow.

Agree: the skirt is wonderfull but the shoes donot match.
These high - shoes- with- nothing- else get a bit boring, shoes with more fantasy must be possible to design.

    2. I AGREE those shoes don't do justice to that beautiful outfit.

  3. It seems that social distancing is no longer on and no masks. Not all countries are on equal footing regarding contamination.

To anonymous 2:58 AM why would you say something so cruel. Do you think someone sits behind a desk and makes up those obituaries....Don't rain on Mary's parade with your cruel Trump frame of mind ignorant statistics!

  4. Quelle belle jupe plissée imprimée très fraîche mais je trouve que le haut décolleté comme sur le mannequin aurait donné plus d'allure à Mary ; superbes les chaussures à talons bleu pale !

  5. Denmark is not "done" with Covid-19, but on a very good way to keep it under control. They have 5 people in 100.000 newly infected right now. In comparison to other countries: UK 17 in 100.000, Germany 3 in 100.000, USA 44 in 100.000, and Brazil 83 in 100.000. And then there's New Zealand: 0 (zero)!!!

Well, still doesn’t mean royals shouldn’t set the right example. We’re talking about human lives being put at risk. Statistics can’t put a number on that. Lavinia

Pretty skirt. I like that she is picking up on the blue in the skirt with her heels. Did she change her hair color?

I totally agree, Unknown, she is truly amazing, remarkable! I just want to know, where is Frederik? I can't wait for the day, that she don't have to curtsy for other monarchs, I mean, she is officially a Regent, since queen Margrethe signed it

  8. Like the skirt and love the shoes--the shoes make such a difference. The skirt doesn't look half as good with the clumsy dark shoes worn by the model

Lovely outfit, and I understand she was picking up the blue color with the shoes/skirt, but somehow, they just don't quite fit. Perhaps a rose/brownish or taupe color would have been a better fit. Lovely outfit, and thankfully she keeps her hair so nice and styled.

  12. This is a beautiful skirt and the blouse is very becoming. I love the colour of the shoes, if the bag was the same colour it would have looked fabulous.

She looks lovely. I like the skirt.

Personally, I'm getting a bit fed up with this new habit of "mask-shaming".

Love the skirt she always looks great and she beams vitality, health and happiness. Denmark is so lucky to have her. I feel incredibly proud of her as an Australian.
Regards the masks unless you are wearing an N92 which is the water proof one you would need to change it constantly for it to be effective. It's more important to wash hands and stay home if your not well. Best wishes to all.
