A rather classic but really nice and appropriate look. She is a hard working woman!

She is wearing these boots all the time, they must be really comfortable. I really really like them, they are lovely! Does anybody know which brand they are?

  3. Ah là, j'aime ce tailleur-jupe dont les plis creux satinés sur le haut flattent l'allure de Camilla mais toujours ces bottes ? Des chaussures à gros talon carré auraient été plus élégantes !

As far as one can tell this about a person one doesn't know personally, I'd say I do like the Duchess of Cornwall very much. She's a rather down to earth person but she also seems to be smart and intelligent.
Here, an all around mirrow would have convinced her the costume is a bit too tight and also too short - althought it's colour is great.

The Duchess looks good. I like the fitted suit and the colour is beautiful on her.

These dark greens, and brighter reds seem to be very suitable for almost all the Royal ladies featured on this blog. They all seem to look good in these colours.

So glad to see that Camilla has been accepted and is doing a wonderful job representing Her Majesty. She is always dressed appropriately and seems to engage well with the people around her. ~Rose~

  9. Nicely suited as usual, Camilla. Forest green seems to be a popular colour.
But I don't understand the boots and black pantyhose. Or is it just me?

Great outfit on the Duchess of Cornwall - classy and elegant.

  11. Boots are very practical for an outdoor event, particularly on a cold winter’s day, but at a reception indoors at Buckingham Palace stockings and dress shoes would be more appropriate, IMHO.

    1. I completely agree. The fact that she seems to be wearing these boots almost constantly, often indoors, is a bit of a head-scratcher. They may be comfortable, but Camilla surely has access to comfortable low-heeled pumps, or even flats, that are more appropriate with knee-length dresses at indoor events? It’s puzzling. It’s nice that she doesn’t let fashion and style rule her life, but it’s also nice to see her looking her best.

    2. Forgot to add that I love the deep green suit with its interesting detailing on the jacket 🙂.

  12. The boots are probably warm and comfy as it's really cold and damp there. I think her outfit looks ok. I like the way she dresses.

  13. I don't mind the black boots and stockings but then I am a New Yorker. In cold months this is normal. Plenty of time for nude color stockings, in warmer months. I understand how it might grate on people, though.

    Killer suit.

  15. I love this fitted jacket, it works in well with the dress and fits perfectly. The length of the dress is excellent, just right. The rich colour of green suits the Duchess well. The pearl choker is superb, I love the way she incorporates her chokers into daywear.

  16. Maybe they boots are made for walking! Although they look like statues or wax figures. They need to smile more. Love Camilla's suit.

I personally love how her dressmaker styles her outfits to give the illusion of slimming. They use darts and piping to give shape. Love her outfits, very age appropriate and especially flattering to her shape. She does not try to wear anything faddish.

I thought she looked a little frumpy looking for being a duchess's and Charlies had a dumbfounded look in him in one of the pictures earlier. For this to be rulers or high society I think they could have done better. And as far as her boots go what happened to that rule of thumb wear your winter boots but Tite your shoes with you and change inside.

  19. I agree that her suit is very flattering and age appropriate but I feel that the dark colour( Black ) of the boots somewhat took away the classy look of her suit. Your eyes are immediately drawn to the black boots and then you don’t really see the lovely details of the suit . The boots also are not very - Royal.
