So Harry gets to meet his father-in-law for the first time a few days before the wedding, and never gets to see the rest of the bride's father because she does not get along with 20 plus members of her family. Good luck Harry hope you didn't rush into this!

    1. Given what the "20 plus" members of her family have been saying I wouldn't get along with them. They strike me as absolutely awful.

    2. Agree, Franny. Who knows what further name-calling and abusive rants her half-sister and half-brother would indulge in after the wedding, at the royal family's expense. Also not sure of security concerns that may have been dictated to Meghan given her half-brother's arrest for violence, threatening with a gun, and admitted alcoholic rages.

      I agree too
I read somewhere Meghan's mather, in the past few days, had a long meeting with a famous american journalist. So probably we'll read an article about it.
Let's hope it will have the right touch. I'm not so sure

Given the vicious, nasty, downright untruthful comments by some of Ms. Markle's HALF-siblings, why would anyone expect for them to receive an invitation to the wedding? By their own admission, each one of these individuals have not been in contact with Ms. Markle for well over five years or more. So again, why are they expecting to be invited when they made no effort to remain in communication with her prior to her engagement to Prince Harry?

And what is the big deal about Prince Harry not meeting Ms. Markle's father until a couple of days before the wedding? As it has been widely reported and even mentioned by Prince Harry himself, he has spoken with Mr. Markle frequently by phone, so its not as if there hasn't been any contact whatsoever between them. Not that I'm royalty by any measure, I didn't meet my in-laws until months after I was married because similar to Ms. Markle and Prince Harry, my in-laws lived overseas (in Australia) and I'm an American.

It is truly sad how some people just can't bring themselves to be happy for this couple.

So the bitter, nasty, contemptible, downright dishonest HALF-siblings who by their own admission made no effort to remain in contact with Ms. Markle UNTIL to her engagement to Prince Harry, should receive an invitation to the wedding, huh? Why? Their behavior alone speaks volumes about the types of people they really are despite the horrible things they say about Ms. Markle.

And seriously what is the big deal about Prince Harry meeting Mr. Markle face-to-face a couple of days before the wedding? As it has been widely reported and even mentioned by Prince Harry himself, he has spoken to his future father-in-law frequently on the phone, so its not as if there hasn't been any communication between the two. I didn't meet my in-laws until 8 months after getting married; they lived overseas in Australia and I'm an American.

  5. So she has to come by car in her wedding gown from London to Windsor? That is about 45 minute ride. That seems odd. Why wouldn't she prepare at Windsor?

    1. Does it say that they will come from London Diane? I think they will be staying nearby. I agree that a 45 minute journey would be horrendous - given the crowds and roadworks etc!.

    2. No Barbara - I posted below. She will be at Windsor on Friday night in an undisclosed location. The castle has I think 1000 rooms. She and her Mother will travel from there up the Long Way to West Steps. Her Dad will meet them there. That makes better sense. 45 min is w no traffic. Imagine the cost w security to actually come from London.
      I am so excited šŸ¤—

  6. Ok so little bits are missing here. Meghan and her Mother will be in Windsor on Friday night at a unnamed location. There drive to the chapel will be short. That makes more sense.

  7. Easy on the blush, Meghan. Blend, blend, blend. Love the blouse!

  8. It’s unfortunate the castle is directly underneath the Heathrow flight path. Every minute planes come roaring over to the point where it does become uncomfortable. It is also unfortunate that the guests invited to the grounds of the castle are not given refreshments and are advised to bring a picnic.

It is quite possible that airplanes will be diverted away from the castle for the couple of hours duration of the wedding, both for security and noise purposes.
I also think it is somewhat ridiculous being invited to something and not being offered so much as a bottle of water and a biscuit. Wasn't there a famous story about crowds of uninvited strangers turning up at an event and being fed plenty of bread and fish by the host ?

    2. Agree about the food and drink - it's odd. I live near Windsor and don't find the planes that noisy - they don't come in that low over the castle and town.

    3. Taking a picnic with you....but not a bottle...would be dangerous....
...hopefully people will find good solutions....probably they get advise....

In two weeks all the hoopla is over we seen the dress the Tiara, all the guest's we'll have a lot to talk about the fashions the most important dress on Meghan. After that we all can take a small breather. After that we are watching for a bump the appear. It never ends but it is fun. Well I did not get an invite,so no need for me to dust off my Tiara ha ha.I do wish them all the Happiness in the World. May God Bless them always.

  12. I feel for Ms Markle, her half-siblings tales don't reflect badly on her, they reflect badly on those telling the tales, in fact they speak volumes. Two older, less successful half-siblings who are jealous, not only of their younger siblings success in her career, but also in her success in finding love, with a Prince.

I wish both Prince Harry and Ms Markle every happiness, I hope they have a wonderful life together.
