The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh are visiting Helsinki to celebrate the close and longstanding relationship between the UK and Finland. On Tuesday, October 27, 2026, the Duchess of Edinburgh and Suzanne Innes-Stubb, wife of Finnish President Alexander Stubb, visited the factory of food technology company Solar Foods in Vantaa, followed by a visit to the Kalevala Koru jewellery factory.
At Solar Foods, the Duchess and the First Lady learned about the company’s operations and how it produces food using air, electricity, and microbes. They also had the opportunity to sample some of the company’s products. Afterwards, the Duchess and the First Lady visited the Kalevala Koru factory, where they had the opportunity to make their own rings.
On the evening of October 26, 2026, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh attended a reception at the British Ambassador’s Residence in Helsinki to celebrate the residence’s 100th anniversary and the longstanding ties between the United Kingdom and Finland. For the occasion, the Duchess wore a pleated, woven midi dress by Roksanda.

I like the dress with the pretty bow detail at the neckline and the red wrap very much on Sophie. I think navy shoes would have looked better with that outfit, however.
