  1. My Duchess Stephanie unfortunately ruined Max Mara suit . What a pity!

    1. Stephanie didn't ruin anything. If you think that this suit was not the right choice for her, just say so. Lyra

    2. She was so used to dress freely, wants to remain the boss of her dressing code ...
Letitia, Catherine and some other can do that since they can wear what ever they want and look elegant, far more difficult for Stephanie. I wish her to keep her marvelous smile.
We have seen her quite some nice things, I wish she would rewear them.

Yes, it would have been somewhat of a save if she had only left the jacket unbuttoned. Does she not own a mirror? Ok, that was unkind, but really. i even have my tailor move buttons over just a tad when close to being tight - just to give a little extra space.

    1. Yes it was a bit unkind. If we are writing something a bit unkind, we can delete it rather than publish. It is true that she could have adjusted the button. That was a good observation and fair comment.

  3. Oh dear the top and jacket look good. The pants are good through the hip but as they widen and flood near the bottom is not a good look especially with the flat shoes. the colour is great with her complex and hair .

  5. The MM suit is lovely, just the pull of the jacket a little bigger, the pants imo are too baggy for her. Stephanie is on the right track though, just some adjustments and size changes, more style thought to what suits her shape best. She looks radiant, happy and engaging, lovely to see.

    1. La veste trop grande ??? Mais c'est l'inverse

  6. Pantalons trop larges, veste trop petite. Puisque Stéphanie ne sait pas comment se vêtir pour paraître à son avantage, quelqu’un devrait lui conseiller de se faire conseiller…. Josée.

    1. I can relate to that. On this one in particular: As I said on GD's Stephanie's previous engagement (with the beige blazer), she almost always misses the mark by the breadth of a hair (perhaps a little more than just that). By now, it's rather painful to watch.

  9. Despite all the negative comments on her linen light blue jacket and off-white jacket she bought at Scapa, I find this light blue Max Mara pant suit worse and more ill fitting than the 2 jackets she bought at Scapa's.

  12. Omg! GDS shows that she has plenty of cash to spend on her wardrobe. However there is a chasm between spending up big and understanding what suits your body. Not everything suits everyone. Identify what is flattering to your body and stick to it. Stephanie has not learned this valuable lesson.
The blue is a lovely shade for her but nothing else positive can be said. Poor fit top to bottom! Jacket too small and consequently too tight. Pants too long and are dragging on the ground. That said they are a distinct improvement in cut compaired to other recent trousers that were skin tight.
I realy like Stephanie she seems genuinely warm toward people and just glows in photos with her two lovely boys. I just wish that she would get proper advice to help her find beautiful flattering garments that would enhance every engagement she attends.
Right now she seems intent on copying the PofW or Queen Mary with pant suits that flatter tall thin women.
This will always be a fail for Stephanie.
Look how lovely she was in that fantastic yellow dress a few weeks ago.
Classic A-Line dress, good fit ,good length, fab colour. More of the same please.

    1. I find your comment unfair and unfeeling. Stephanie obviously tries hard and frequently knocks it out of the park. It’s much harder to dress spectacularly when you’re not a tall slim model. Have some heart,

  14. Cette veste est bien coupée mais elle conviendrait beaucoup mieux à Stéphanie si elle la portait non boutonnée !

  15. Why are so many commenters so tough on Stephanie? It is much harder for we who are not willow thin to find fashion that suits, given that most is constructed on willow thin models. We should not be judged harshly, we already know it’s harder, even with excellent advisors. So back off and look for what’s good and kind.

  16. I find that she is wearing what the ‘style elements that suit her figure’ however what is missing is a few adjustments to tailor it to her actual figure. She can’t just wear off the rack. Few women can.

    1. Exactly si, she can't Just wear off the rock because few women can.
As much as I like GD Stephanie, I just can't find an wcolanation whatsoever for her unflattering pantsuits (made by first- rate fashion houses).
It is not a question of being willow thin or on the large side as also slim royal ladies- I can put my finger on it- surely have their clothes adjusted to fit their figures.
Perfection doesn't exist , there are only good taylors/ seamstresses who can make proper alterations if/ when requested by their clients.
      I suspect Stephanie
is reluctant to ask for help and I appreciate her determination to choose her own garments to some extent .
Anyway, let's be fair: most of or maybe all of the royal ladies we see featured on this site most likely have their clothes customized or otherwise we would be shocked every time they go out there to carry out their engagements!

  19. @16:08 and 16:09 - 12:16 has made a fair, objective comment and one I fully agree with. Clothes specifically designed and tailored to fit would be so much better than the expensive mistakes she has worn lately.
