Queen Mathilde recently welcomed a young delegation from KETNET, the Flemish public children's television network and media platform. As part of the annual STIP IT campaign, Queen Mathilde met with five children and Ketnet presenter Lee Arrendell at the Royal Palace for a heartfelt and open conversation. The meeting and the children’s personal stories will also be featured in the Ketnet programmes Hallo Kroket! and Karrewiet.

    How nice of Queen Mathilde to welcome the children and the Ketnet TV people, just before she left for New York. The subject was how to react against bullying. I like her pink pant suit which she wore quite a while ago during a state visit of former GDuke and GDuchess Henri & Maria Teresa of Luxembourg to Belgium..

      Sorry, what do you mean by putting these comments out in the public domain? Is it supposed to encourage some sort of Flemish-only Flemish-first approach? Hopefully not and in particular not when it comes to children. Perhaps next time you use Google Translate if English isn’t your first language, or just publish in a language you actually have some command on. Otherwise we’ll just have it as weird.

    How wonderful to host this event. She sure has a captive audience. Bullying is still happening and this in the 21st Century. Has nobody learned anything.

      I often agree with your comments, css. This time as well. Bullish adults are the cause and children (including those who become aggressors) are simply the result of following unconscious people who they see (including some in powerful positions).

    She looks wonderful, I particularly like the top, its different. The color of this ensemble is beautiful. How marvellous she is with the children. Wonderful!
