On September 22, 2026, Queen Mary of Denmark and Minister for Research, Education and Digitalisation Christina Egelund jointly presented the 2026 Teaching Awards (Undervisningsprisen 2026) at the Copenhagen Opera House. The awards are presented annually to seven inspiring and engaging educators in higher education.
This year’s award recipients are Assistant Professor Amalie Trangbæk, Associate Professor Bjarne Schmidt, Assistant Professor Brian Jørgensen, Associate Professor and Programme Director Gry Segoli, Associate Professor Lars Plauborg Pedersen, Associate Professor Lene Krogstrup Jakobsen, and Associate Professor René Kirk Johansen. Each award recipient receives a prize of DKK 500,000.

DeleteI really like this dress, with the small polka dot and the gold buttons on the solid bands of fabric. Good choice to remove the two lower buttons seen on the model; Mary’s version looks better. The neutral shoes and clutch look nice.

ReplyDeleteI agree with the other comments about the modification of the dress. Accessorized with the bracelet with pearls and loose hair, she looks great. I really like this feminine style.

I have always loved this dress. Again, Queen Mary looks gorgeous as always in this dress. Her choice of the neutral accessories do a great job of highlighting dress.

DeleteI may be alone in this opinion: I don’t like Prada and don’t understand how it commands the prices it does. This dress, to me, would be much more attractive without the strange black “belt” added vertically, horizontally and at the neck. The black binding on the edge of the sleeve, and the same on the neckline would be sufficient. Otherwise to me it’s looking like a military harness added over the lovely dress. Mary looks beautiful but the dress for me is most strange.
ReplyDeleteI agree. The enormous buttons seem like an afterthought; next to the tiny dainty print, their bulk looks heavy and out of place. The black bands in stiff leather(?) also look too wide and heavy next to floaty chiffon. To me they both detract from the elegance of this otherwise lovely classic dress. Lyra
DeleteMary looks beautiful in this classic black and white polka dot dress. It's made more modern with the swirl design on the skirt. The length is perfect (pay attention Windsor ladies). I agree with others that removing that lower button below the waist is a great improvement.

I love this dress, so glad to see the rewear. The style and design of the Queen's dress is better than the style of the model, the modification works so much better. The skirt of the dress is so feminine, it moves so beautifully, wonderful swish. I love the pearl jewellery choices, especially love her bracelet. The beige accessories were the perfect choice. Her hair looks soft and natural. I love this length, its not too long, and works well up style. Beautiful presentation.
