Princess of Wales Hosts Three Peaks Challenge Participants at Windsor Castle

The Princess of Wales hosted a tea party at Windsor Castle in Berkshire for fellow Three Peaks Challenge participants, some of whom she met during her own gruelling challenge across the UK’s highest peaks. The Princess of Wales heard stories of resilience and determination from those who took on the Three Peaks Challenge. The Princess of Wales completed the challenge in June, raising funds for The Royal Marsden Hospital in London.

Among those attending her tea party last week was Ted Haslam, a youngster who uses a wheelchair, whom the Princess met on Ben Nevis in Scotland. Ted was pushed and carried in his wheelchair by his father, Pete, and 15 friends and family members as he took on the challenge. Albie-Junior, who was raising funds for his local football club, was also among the guests after becoming the youngest amputee to complete the Three Peaks Challenge within 24 hours this August.The Princess wore a bespoke, belted wool dress by Burberry
