Princess Claires represented Queen Paola at the record-breaking longest lunch table event

Ahead of the Week Against Child Poverty, on September 19, 2026, Princess Claire of Belgium, representing Queen Paola, took part in a special challenge to create the longest lunch table at the Meise Botanic Garden in Meise. The event was held as part of the “Day of the Full Lunchbox,” (Dag van de Volle Brooddoos) organized by Pelicano, the Queen Paola Foundation’s program dedicated to combating child poverty.

    Interesting combination of a long jacket, pussy bow blouse, and white shoes. Not sure everyone can pull this combo off, but I think she looks great. Each piece is well fit and offers something of interest. This outfit feels like the chic, causal and sophisticated European fashion sensibility that feels so unachievable for some of us Americans!
