On 18 September 2026, Princess Astrid of Belgium attended the Gala Dinner in Ostend, hosted by Belgian industrialist Patrick Maselis and his wife, Siska Maselis, in aid of the King Baudouin Foundation. The Foundation was established in 1976 and has been under the honorary presidency of Queen Mathilde since 2015. For the occasion, the Princess wore a pink embellished gown by Oscar de la Renta.

She looks good and young, shoulders, neck part, skin - but I don't like the dress. Although from an expensive brand/designer, it reminds me of a luxurious night gown.

DeleteLove the pink & silver and overall effect of the design…very much a fun party dress! Some of the specific details, like the ties at the sleeve cuffs, and the amount of fabric at the cuffs and bottom are throwing me off a bit, but I still think it’s a fun dress and she looks great!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous gown. I don’t mind the shininess of the fabric, which is a luxurious silk. The off-the-shoulder effect is very flattering to the wearer and seems quite daring at first, but the neckline is actually carefully modest, thankfully avoiding décolletage which keeps the look elegant. I can’t tell whether the Princess’s hair is short or long in an updo, but it is the right style for this gown that showcases the neck and shoulders.

DeletePrincess Astrid is looking good. One rarely see her with her hair in an updo. It suits her beautifully. The pink dress matches her complexion. Surprised to see the American ambassador there. I agree with Anonymous 20:05.
ReplyDeleteI cannot recall ever seeing her hair up style before, she looks fabulous really suits her. The side profile view of her hair, stunning, I love this look for her. Her earrings look to be diamonds, lovely. She looks beautiful.

I really like this dress: it looks very festive. The combination with updo and longer earrings looks fab. It seems she has outgrown her blonde hair: it looks completely grey/white in the pictures. It looks fantastic, it suits her very much. It's a very energetic look!.
