Stunning! This woman was made to wear gowns. Her style is so modern and sophisticated, I’m not sure that any other royals come close to her black tie style IMO.

agree! when it comes floor length evening gowns, Charlene is on another level altogether. She understands so well how to dress her unique figure to emphasise its goddess features. Lyra

I prefer the black tie style of most of the other royal ladies over Charlene, but this dress is really beautiful and she looks really good. Goddess?, a step too far to call any human. Just a woman who trained hard when younger and has changed herself to unrecognisable since.

    3. I disagree. Swedens Victoria, Denmarks Mary, Spains Letizia, GBs Catherine - they all look stunning in gowns!
Within the Monaco-family, Charlene does not look better than Caroline, Charlotte and Beatrice. I would even say Charlene cannot compete with Caroline/Charlotte/Beatrice, since the three of them are natural beauties.

Ha, somehow even a compliment with an “in my opinion” qualifier still results in getting told I’m wrong

No one has said you are wrong. They’ve written their opinions too.

I agree, Anon 21:38…it does seem that even having your very own personal opinion on this site (which everyone has a right to have) will ruffle the feathers of someone! I think Charlene looks absolutely stunning, very beautiful and poised. She certainly can and does look as good and many times better than the other Monegasque ladies. Caroline and Charlotte have had their share of disaster fashions and even Beatrice has had a few duds. And ALL the ladies are beautiful whether or not they have had any ‘enhancements’. Of course not everyone will agree with my opinion and that’s perfectly fine! Cheers!

You don’t like Charlene, do you, Coralie?

Hi 19/9/26 10:25 I don't consider Charlene or anyone a goddess. What I call Charlene's "goddess features" are just her height and her proportions. In western culture, taller women are more likely to be associated with a goddess-like appearance than those of average or petite stature; and Charlene's evening gowns often evoke this association, through expression of shoulder width, and smoothed vertical lines from bust to floor.

Charlene creates a different impression if she chooses gowns which don't accentuate her height (e.g. a less narrow silhouette), or which make her proportions look more standard.

BTW I don’t see a ”goddess” silhouette as the pinnacle of evening wear style; it just happens to be a look which is relatively easy for a woman with a body type like Charlene’s to achieve. I’m not surprised that Charlene leans into this look – for her, it is consistently flattering, and gives her evening wear choices a distinctive personal flavour. Lyra

Love this dress on her, just enough glam, fit perfect, her tiny clutch is a good accessory. I like her hair nice and soft, not harshly pulled back. They make a lovely couple. The prince looks good in this suit.

Now that is pretty!! No fuss, no edge, no try-hard. Just old-school elegance.
I´m not usually a big fan of lipstick, but here a red lip had been the cherry on the cake, but Charlene looks stunning all the same.

  10. This beaded embellished black gown is so beautiful, fits like a glove, I like the style and design. The embellished/beaded top half looks perfect, just enough not overdone. I haven't like much of the JP gowns of late but this one is a total win. Her diamond earrings are beautiful, considering the busy embellished beaded top these earrings are a good choice. Her small black clutch is a stunner. Love her hair and makeup, she looked so elegant.

Nobody can go wrong with Jenny Packham. I remember the red Jenny Packham Queen Mathilde wore in 2025 for the finals of the Queen Elisabeth music competition. I would like her to wear that JP dress again. Although it is said that P Charlene never wears a dress more than once, I think this is the 2nd time she wears this black JP dress. It would be a sinn not to wear such a beauty more than once.

She is really unique. - But I think this fabulous gown could be breathtaking on any woman, small and tall, thin and not so thin, if properly fitted. - The only thing almost only Charlene can pull of is the closed neck, because her neck is especially slim and long - and because she lets it be seen (hair away from face and neck).
