On Thursday, 17 September 2026, Prince Albert II and Princess Charlène of Monaco received Christophe Lemoine at the Princely Palace in Monaco on the occasion of the presentation of his letters of credence as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to the Principality of Monaco.
Ambassador Christophe Lemoine succeeds Jean d’Haussonville, who served as France’s ambassador to Monaco for three years. A career diplomat, Christophe Lemoine has notably served as Consul General of France in Los Angeles and as Director of Communications at the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs. For the occasion, Princess Charlène wore a viscose-silk suit by Bottega Veneta.
