On August 20, 2026, Princess Aiko of Japan visited the Nakanoshima Museum of Art in Osaka to attend the opening ceremony of the exhibition Vermeer: Girl with a Pearl Earring. Prior to the ceremony, Princess Aiko viewed the exhibition, which features 17th-century Dutch paintings from the collection of the Mauritshuis in the Netherlands.
The exhibition presents an exceptional opportunity to view masterpieces of 17th-century Dutch painting through twelve works from the Mauritshuis collection, including Johannes Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring and Diana and Her Nymphs. Emperor Naruhito also viewed Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring at the Mauritshuis in The Hague during his visit to the Netherlands in June.

A very pretty dress. The Light blue colour with white polka dots works very youthful. Love it. Only those shoes, are they a size too big??
ReplyDeletePossibly too big. I’ve noted that over several years. Must be a comfort preceference?
DeleteÉlégante robe bleue à pois blancs ; la petite tresse de ces cheveux lui apporte une touche délicate surtout avec les perles des boucles d’oreilles et collier - Elle est de plus en plus belle !
ReplyDeleteShe’s so pretty, the outfit is exquisite and her hair is fantastic! Ac
ReplyDeleteLovely lovely lovely, cute hair do, shoes may be a size too big but nice to see a blue shoe.
ReplyDeletePrincess Aiko looks really lovely. And I wish I could have been there — I love Vermeer!
