  1. Catherine looks sensational. And so do her lovely children. George is a very handsome guy and Charlotte an adorable little lady!

PoW has done very well this year's Wimbledon style, i like these type of dresses that add volume, they look amazing on her.
Charlotte has worn a similar beautiful dress a few years back

Catherine: this kind of green is maybe her best colour in my eyes (but I admit I love this special shade on everyone, myself included). The dress itself is elegant and nice - even though I'd be happier with symmetrical sleeves, ditching the cape thingy for normal sleeves like the one without cape but keeping the ruching. But the cape is a minor dislike, because not too large and this green and the allover loveliness and feminineness makes me love the dress as it is too. Lady Gabriella's green dress is beautiful on her too, while the ME+EM dress can go away somewhere without me missing it.

That's a gorgeous dress on Catherine. At first, I liked it better without seeing the long flap that goes over her right shoulder, but I soon got over it and like the dress with the flap all the same. The dress fits her nicely, and she makes a difficult olive green work very well as a summer colour.
Nice to see Lady Gabriella, her SIL Sophie Winkleman, and even Anna Wintour. The first two have worn comparatively simpler styled dresses than Catherine's, but perfectly suitable for an outdoor summer event.
Lovely to see George and Charlotte as well. They are being well groomed for their future duties and privileges.

Catherine and her family look lovely, as well as the distant royal relatives. I'm not a tennis fan, but I wonder whether women's final is less exciting than the men's one, because Catherine never brings her family to the women's final.

As much as I loved the red outfit yesterday, this olive green dress is giving me the opposite impression. I’m personally not a fan of this color, except for hiking or gardening, and the cape seems way too formal for a tennis match, even as a presenter. The brown accessories are unfortunately adding to the drab color scheme. I will keep focusing on the great Roland Mouret from Saturday!

I don’t think it’s olive green. Compare it to the military uniform in one of the pictures. I think it’s rather that the light in some shots makes it appear a little khaki, but other show it rather a Forest or Kelly Green. I find it very cooling and lovely.

Not expecting the green. The design is okay and I like the color. I really like the purse and shoes. The kids are out of course it's become a regular engagement for them. The family isn't color coordinated today. I like Lady Gabriella's look. The color and fit are good. Sophie Winkleman's dress is good but hair looks like she has rollers in the top. I had to take a second look at it. Not good. Lord Frederick is starting to look just like Prince Micheal of Kent. Wonder how Princess Micheal is doing?

Lady Gabriella's dress is the best look for me. The Wales family is well dressed and those are some nice pictures of Princess Charlotte. Prince George's face? What's he thinking? I just realized that is Dustin Hoffman. Ben Stiller and him have the same expression.

  9. I love Kate'd avocado green dress. The mock shawl is very regal and enhances the overall look. It's a good length too. She really has a lovely smile that lights up her face.

The Princess of Wales dress is okay. Prince Micheal of Kent is out. Lady Gabriella looks great. Sophie Winkleman looks like she did her hair in the car without a mirror.

They all look stylish and appropriate. This shade of green with grey undertones isn’t doing anyone any favours. Draws the light in and especially close to the face after 40 years of age is not reflecting any additional light to help the skin look brighter and less aged.

Happy to see Gabriella is well recovered from her personal situation. I am sure her family helped a lot.

I don't believe one single word of this "additional light taking away years" - but despite of that: what`s the problem looking your age? Just because so many woman try to fight that?

Very autumnal shade of green. Not the Wimbledon green, not a summer shade, no brightness to it whatsoever. Sure, some here think Kate can never, ever, do anything but be perfectly dressed, but I also quite dislike this mossy green. Good colour for November. Not July.

Catherine looks lovely, but I think the draped/cape-like fabric on her right shoulder is a bit much for a daytime sporting event, even one as formal as Wimbledon. It looks slightly more cocktail dress attire to me. The children look so well-dressed and well-groomed. I actually like Charlotte’s dress the best. I like the way William hangs back a little bit and does not try to take the lead at Wimbledon, where Catherine is the one who is the royal patron.

Agree. Very OTT, dressing up too much + all the exposition of jewellery for a sport event 😂 it’s not going to a wedding. Even she’s the patron. Should take example of other royals, especially the nordics.

      Delete
    2. Anonymous13/7/26 10:23

It’s not a sports event like a football game where royals are spectators. It’s a traditional and formal event and they are dressed appropriately. It is more akin to the formality of a wedding as you see it 22:12, exactly.

    3. What "exposition of jewellery", if I might ask? I can only see the PoW wearing earrings. That's all.

    4. Anonymous13/7/26 17:16

@Anonymous 22:12 - my understanding is that there is a strict and rather formal dress code for the royal box at Wimbledon, so I think Catherine and Charlotte wearing nice day dresses and William and George wearing coats and ties is appropriate. But the gauzy cape thing on her right shoulder looks to me more like cocktail attire. I would like the dress better for this event with the cape omitted and just short sleeves on both sides like the left sleeve.

Anon 10:23 yes. Why not let George wear a summer suit. He looks like he's going to work at a bank. It must be uncomfortable in a dark blue suit in the summer sun.

  17. Impossible to beat yesterday’s outfit but comparisons are supposedly odious so considering the dress on its own merits, it’s lovely. Princess Charlotte and Prince George look great. Lady Gabriela’s dress is a lovely colour and flattering fit, I’m afraid Sophie Winkleman’s dress is awful. No redeeming features that I can see.

In the majority of the European countries children are not going to school anymore on saturdays since ages. My son who is 56 now never had to go to school on saturday and during the week they don't have to go to school on wednesday afternoon either.

@22:12 - OTT how? Too much jewellery? Learn from other royals?
A beautifully tailored dress which has a lovely flow to it, unusual cape affect, green is such a Wimbledon colour, lovely simple earrings. There are many royals who could learn from the PofW as far as style is concerned.
George and Charlotte look so confident and were definitley enjoying the day from photos on other sites, all smiles and laughter.

The PoW finally discovered a fashionable style. Asymmetry worn by so many royal ladies before her looks very good on her. It creates a bit of volume which she can wear better than many other royal ladies since she is very thin. The colour is matching the colour of her hair.

  23. Well, I prefer her red Roland Mouret number from the Ladie's Final. That bordered on perfection. This olive-green dress not so much. I mean, it's still very good, don't get me wrong. But imho it doesn't play in the same class as the red dress. I am very glad, though, that Prince Michael of Kent and his children were able to attend together.

Saturday’s Rolland Mouret was amazing. This one is.. “meh” in my opinion. Certainly an exemplary display of craftsmanship, but in the wrong colour and a bit much in terms of a Center Court gentleman’s final at mid afternoon in the July hot sunshine

Gabriella takes the prize in my book. Sophie W needs a better hairbrush.

The EW dress looks more suited to a Winter evening event, rather than attending Wimbledon. That said, the PoW hair and makeup was spot on. I’ve been critical of Catherine in the past for lacking the finesse in an ensemble. But, no one could accuse her of that today. It would have been a slam dunk if she had worn the Sandora dress worn by Lady Gabriella. She would have looked absolutely superb in that style.
Lady Sophie Windsor has a way of wearing a dress, that would look not so good on others. She managed to bring the dress to life.
Lady Gabriella looked gorgeous in the green Sandora dress.
    Lowri.
