On 14 July 2026, Queen Camilla visited Heywood Hill in London to celebrate the independent bookshop's 90th anniversary. Heywood Hill is known for its reading consultations, during which visitors share their literary tastes to receive personalised book recommendations and subscriptions. After completing her tour of the shop's four main rooms, the Queen unveiled a plaque officially naming one of the rooms the "Queen's Room."
Queen Camilla toured the four rooms that make up Heywood Hill, met some of the twenty booksellers who work there, took part in one of the shop's reading consultations, and joined a packing session with two of bookshop's full-time professional packers, helping to gift-wrap customer orders. For the occasion, the Queen wore a blue cotton dress by Samantha Sung.

Photo 5 is very funny; can’t work out who was the consultant and was the client. Quite dramatic! “ Heywood Hill is known for its reading consultations, during which visitors share their literary tastes to receive personalised book recommendations and subscriptions”… how dreamy! I admire Camilla’s passion for literacy.
ReplyDeleteI like the pink floral dress of the lady who is following QC. Is she one of her personal assistants as it looks like she is wearing a beautiful cream handbag like the lady Dior and another evelope bag in cream too. I think the lady Dior must be Camilla's who is wearing herself a dress which is fitting well and much better than her other similar dresses.
