On July 24, 2026, Princess Kako visited the Equestrian Sports Center in Gotemba, Shizuoka Prefecture, to attend the opening ceremony of the 60th All-Japan High School Equestrian Championships. A total of 36 teams from across Japan are participating in the competition, with approximately 180 athletes taking part. The competition is Japan’s premier national championship for high school equestrian riders.

ReplyDeleteA delightfully simple feminine style of dressing. Would have worked in my mum’s day in the 50s with a slightly fuller skirt and still works today. You cannot go wrong with a simple well sewn dress of good quality eg cotton to the knees, with neat shoes and matching accessories. It is not tight, nor loose, nor revealing, nor difficult to wear in the slightest. Timeless.

I think this dress is simple, plain & classical. It fits beautifully on Kako. She has accessorised it well. It's such a delight to see this lovely young lady. So glad due to the new changes for the JRF she will keep her title & hope to see she continues working with the family. Kako & Aiko are great assets.
ReplyDeleteClear cut, simple and classic dress, gorgeous. She looks quietly elegant. I like the neckline and sleeves. A style of dress you cannot go wrong with. A pleasure to see her, she is always so engaging, appealing and pleasant.
ReplyDeleteThis dress is plain, yes, but it has this certain something. What it needs is bolder accessories, like dark blue shoes, a matching handbag, the colour white was not the best choice. We might see it again, who knows.
