July 22, 2026, marked the 15th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the Government Quarter in Oslo and Utøya. King Harald and Queen Sonja of Norway attended a memorial service at Oslo Cathedral. The memorial service was part of the national commemorations, which also included a ceremony in the Government Quarter and a memorial event at Utøya.

On July 22, 2011, 77 people were killed in the terrorist attacks. Eight people were killed when the bomb exploded in the Government Quarter, followed by 69 people who were shot when the attacker targeted the AUF summer camp on Utøya. Thirty-three of those killed were under the age of 18. The youngest were just 14 years old.

    I remember this is horrible day! Such acts of american style violence are unsual in Europe!
