On 20 July 2026, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia, accompanied by Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía, welcomed Spain's men's national football team to the Palace of La Zarzuela in Madrid during the team's first official engagement following their return from the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The Royal Family received the newly crowned world champions at the palace.
Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía chose to wear Spain's white national team jerseys for the occasion, while Queen Letizia wore a red dress. During the reception, the King and Queen and their daughters were presented with red Spain national team jerseys embroidered with two stars, symbolising the country's two FIFA World Cup titles.

ReplyDeleteBoth sisters look really good in these sports outfits. The shirts are great and each sisters trousers fit the wearer perfectly. Letizia of course looks impeccable.
ReplyDeleteHuge congrats to the Spanish team for a game well played and a win very well deserved.
