A pity we don't know what is the group of ladies dressed in wine red and one in a white dress. Maybe they are the wine queen and her ladies of honor ? The GD of Luxembourg is known for their wine culture.

Non sarebbe più semplice pensare: una sposa e le sue damigelle?

No, first of all the lady in the white dress is wearing a sash, which is something I have never seen on a bride. Secondly when I clicked on the photo I could read one word on the sash : "kinniginn" or Köningin or koningin or queen. Maybe an habitant of the GD of Luxembourg could explain the meaning of the group of ladies.

The woman with the white sash is the region's "Wine Queen" and the other women are her "princesses" They get elected and represent a town/village at local cultural events etc.

Natan, but simple. This actually suits GD Stephanie, so much better than the awful(imo) dresses she has worn recently. However, I think the earrings and bag are rather juvenile, an attempt at being relaxed perhaps, but to me the handle of the bag just looks ugly.

The hemline of the front part of the top should be horizontally even and straight, I am sure it is, on the paper it is drawn on. But in real life, it is neither straight nor even, instead it stands slightly off and askew. Why? Because this enormous fabric volume slips away where it wants to, which is mainly the backside of the garment. You raise your arms and the top slips high and back. To get it right again, one has to pull it back. Which is not a good solution, nor is it a good design.

The good solution: No more Natan tents that have volume instead of a design that works for women's bodies.

The front of the top hits DS at the worst possible place. Two inches longer and better tailoring would have worked wonders. She needs a stylist that understands Stephanie’s body. I don’t expect her to be a fashion queen but she spends money on clothes that are mostly ill-fitting. She’s a woman of substance and has a lovely personality. MR

    2. This design suits very well to Stephanie, ample where needed, without providing excessive unnecessary volume. Good balance.

The colour is nice but not the cut. The top should be longe, imo. Lovely handbag.

  5. This is a wonderful ensemble for Stéphanie, in all respects. I would like it for myself.

The front of the top is too short.

  7. Too much fabric again. Overly flowy, billowing stuff. Colour is good, though, but I find the handbag slightly mismatching.

  8. This is a nice outfit in many ways. It looks cool and comfortable, the colour really suits the GD, the trousers fit well and are a good length but the top seems to have too much fabric in it. In one photo it bunches at the back, in another it looks like a maternity top. It’s a Natan ‘try too hard to be different’ look. GD Stephanie herself is lovely as usual.

I like the color. I think GDS suits an open neck/V neck top. Loose trouser is always a good option, especially in the Summer. I just wish she had the correct undergarments on. Without the foundation of a look, it spoils the looks.
    Lowri.

The colour is nice, as is the idea. But again Natan is just fabric draped over a body. This light weight fabric just clings and has no structure.

She looks good for her age. Seldom something fits properly. The bag is too juvenile for a lady her age. For over 60 she has maevellous hair.

OMG! She is 2 years younger than POW then. And much younger than Queen Mary, Letizia and Maxima! Well, no further command necessary. Thank you for enlighten me.

I really like this top on Stephanie. Once again, it is loose and unstructured which suits her perfectly. I also like the trousers but I'm not a fan of the wide legged style. However, perhaps they are good for Stephanie and her body type. Either way, she looks really good. I also like the colour, especially the tone shown in #5. Green is always pleasing to the eyes.

I think she’s probably wearing it for two reasons. One is she wants to and the other is probably because it suits her very well.

Thank you - mayqueen. I too am baffled at why many Royal women stick to Nathan, when the designer does them no favors in these styles. Fabric clings, awkward seam up the middle of the top. Top too short to cover her stomach. Whatever the price, Nathan is not worth it. Bag handbag choice. So many good designers in a variety of prices, to stick with such a bad one.

Beautiful grass green color but it’s offset by the poor design of the top that is sliding back. The handbag is very reminiscent of what a toddler would like.

  15. Jolie couleur vert tendre de cette association mais c’est la largeur du pantalon qui donne une mauvaise impression au.niveau de l’entre-jambe !

  17. The color is lovely a pretty shade of green. The overall look is not too bad, however I don't feel the top at this length is flattering, up close the v neckline does not sit well.
The earrings imo are garnish, I don't find them attractive.

Shaking my head again. At face value, not a bad idea. Design wise, as well as fit wise, not great. Top is so short it shows her tummy way too much. Pants should be really high waisted and a little more fluid on her (versus pulling on her thighs) and top should cover down to slightly below the hips. Much as I like her in jewel colours, this green is overly loud in my opinion. Wouldn’t make such general comments on Natan’s designs as others have. A lot of it has to do with how his designs fit and how the wearer projects confidence.

    Poor fit, specially the pants.

It suits her but she still needs better undergarments. But her hair looks great, and I do like the color, the earrings and the handbag.

This draping is good for a sculpture waiting to be uncovered ... look at photo 7, at the neckline, the flowy silk just wandering from one side to the other. This is fine on the beach, worn over a bathing suit to eat lunch. But appearing in and for the public, a more fitted design is needed - not tight, just structured. Just think of all that waving for the people, very comfortable, but very unbecoming too.

Just a couple of tweaks and this combo would look more flattering on GD Stephanie: a longer blouse and a tad shorter trousers.
This lawn green shade suits her blonde hair and fair skin tone beautifully.
As to the bag, I don't think it blends in well with the rest of the outfit
The green colour is eye- catching per se and the stones or whatever they are in the bag handle add an unecessary surplus of distraction imo.

  25. Hangs straight and nice simple lines that flatter her very much, not the best color of green especially since there are so many unique greens out there at this time. I remember when they were married and I always thought she was so pretty and still is!
