On Saturday, June 6, 2026, the Swedish Royal Family celebrated Sweden’s National Day and Swedish Flag Day in Håbo, Salem, and Stockholm. Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden opened the southern gates of the Royal Palace and welcomed the public into the Inner Courtyard. Swedish Flag Day officially became Sweden's National Day in 1983, and 6 June has been a public holiday since 2005.
King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia began this year’s National Day celebrations with a visit to Håbo Municipality in Uppsala County. Upon arriving at Skokloster Castle, the royal couple were welcomed by Governor Stefan Attefall and his wife, Cecilia Hjort Attefall, as well as representatives of the municipality, the County Administrative Board, and local museums.
Following the National Day celebrations, King Carl Gustaf inaugurated the sculpture Kungsälgen (“The Royal Moose”) in a meadow near Skokloster Castle. The sculpture was created by sculptor Jerker Andersson.
Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel also took part in the National Day celebrations at Skönvik Park in Rönninge, Salem Municipality. Later, the Swedish Royal Family departed from the Royal Palace in a horse-drawn procession to attend the annual National Day celebrations at Solliden on Skansen.

That Camilla Thulin dress is divine.
ردحذفI totally agree and in my opinion both ladies look beautifully dressed. A happy occasion.
حذفTrès estivale cette robe imprimée fleurie mais elle serait mieux portée avec un blazer légèrement plus court ; je crois avoir déjà vu que ces boucles d’oreilles ressemblaient à un brin de lilas !
حذفQueen Silvia looks classy and chic in her green ensemble.
ردحذفLet the Festivities begin. Pss Victoria looked great. Queen Silvia looked stunning in the green ensemble.

Absolutely love the Kelly green ensemble on the Queen, she is a marvel. Really love that both floral bouquets match their outfits 🤣
