On the evening of June 23, 2026, Prince Albert and Princess Charlene, accompanied by Hereditary Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, attended the 2026 Saint John’s Day celebrations held at Palace Square in Monaco. Symbolising the summer solstice, the Saint John’s fire is celebrated by the folkloric group “La Palladienne de Monaco”, which keeps this tradition alive through dances performed around the bonfire.

Caroline looks great with her hair this length. Gabrielle’s dress is not a very intense colour for her fair skin tone. She has her mothers physique and her dad smile.
ReplyDeleteUntil know Princess Gabriella has the face of the Kelly's.
DeletePrince Jacques has his mother's face.
But they are still young. It is possible they will look different once they are adults.
It is so nice to see Princess Charlene looking so fabulous and she looks as young as she did when she 1st graced Monaco's stage to me. Maybe a little fine tuning to her beautiful face. Prince Albert said he was so proud of his marriage to Charlene, I am so happy for them!
ReplyDeletePrince Albert said he was so proud of his marriage ? All those who followed the wedding ceremony on TV saw Princess Charlene could not stop crying. At a certain moment Prince Albert looked very emberassed.
DeleteA little fine tuning Fitzhugh?! She has had an immense amount of work and changed her face substantially especially over the first 10 years. Her skin at the time was natural and beautiful and wrinkled from the harsh sun. She does look younger and younger and her plastic surgeon is highly skilled.
DeleteWhilst I agree she looks better than in many previous years when she looked petrified of her role - situation - relationships, let’s not kid ourselves about the amount of “treatments” Charlene had. Most importantly, she looks happy and healthy, this has reflected in better appearances at events and more suitable fashion choices. She is more often than before at ease and more natural. She had elegant, stylish appearances before, but often diminished by the unease on her face
DeleteFrom what I can see of PSS Charlene's dress it looks quite pretty, gorgeous print on her dress. The children look lovely.
ReplyDeleteShame we can't see the full outfits but looking closer through the stone balcony there is a ballerina style skirt in there
ReplyDeleteLa robe de Charlène me paraît magnifique. Vu ailleurs celle de Gabriella est très jolie la jupe est vaporeuse, certainement agréable à porter
ReplyDeleteFroufrou
I feel sorry for the men having to (choosing to) wear suits in this heat to watch a fire! I wonder how many people like me wished to run this ceremony with the fire.
ReplyDelete* without!
DeletePrincess Charlene is looking so attractive and so stylish.
ReplyDeleteWhoa, with the heatwave, drought and fire danger in Europe, the first photo looked to be a forest fire to me. Worrying! The girls look neat although I think these colours wash both out; the boys look good but hot. I wonder if they’ll adapt the festival over time so a mid summer event doesn’t use a roaring hot fire.
ReplyDeleteI love how the family have lost their celebrity image and embraced their royal image. I think the change has brought about a positive impact on PC. She seems more confident, happier & contented. Looking at these images they look like a united family.
ReplyDeleteThe Max Mara dress is lovely and easy to wear in the hot Summer months. PG looks just as pretty as her Mom in her dress.
Lowri.
I do admit I've never seen anything else than celebrities in them and do still.
DeleteInteresting comment Lowri. What indicates to you that they lost the celebrity image? I think it’s very much ongoing.
DeleteI normally agree with you Coralie and here again ; this family is royal yes, but very much celebrities, turning up to events to be seen, rather than the tradition of active working royals working hard to build up a strong variety of critical society causes that we see in other European countries.
DeleteDon't forget Monaco is a country for the rich and famous. Among the habitants they have celebrities of all kind and of all nationalities. Those from my country who went living there did it for only one reason : they could live and spent their fortune there without paying high taxes in their own country. There is no comparison possible between the other monarchies in Europe and the Princes of Monaco.
DeleteSince PC returned to Monaco after her illness, there seems to have been a complete turn in image. The children are dressed far more conservatively. The country has received visits from Portugal. France and the Pope. Monaco hosted the Blue Oceans conference, plus their two day visit to Spain.
DeletePC image has changed altogether, gone are the strange haircuts, in are the updo’s the clothing brands favoured by other royal ladies. Gone are the children in leather jackets, and ‘celebrity clothing’.
For me,it feels as if Monaco is being given a more traditional style of royalty on the world stage. It’s a shift from what it once was, to how they hoped to be viewed not just by their contemporaries but also the global audience.
Lowri.
The Grimaldis have always been show business royals (some even attempted going into various show businesses 😉). They are who they are. Trying to fit in with the other royals wasn’t much of a priority for them, but perhaps lately they’ve made adjustments.
DeleteHaving said that, getting a young girl a dress over 10,00 euros seems a bit off to me (yes, they are rich and can do anything they want with their money, and someone needs to keep buying signor Cucinnellis and his village’s products (god forbid, what would happen if the ostentatious would want to just wear high quality clothes and such!). Still wouldn’t spend that kind of money on a dress suitable for a year. Would rather make a donation to a children’s cause. Every penny.
In my country it is forbidden to lite a fire outside when it is very hot. I don't know where these traditions com from . Each time they have a saint day, they must light a fire.
ReplyDeleteThe dresses are lovely but not on Princess Charlene nor on Princess Gabriella. They have both a very fair skin and are much more beautiful in colors like red, emerald green, orange, yellow, pink, royal blue, turquoise, ..... etc.
I never understand when commenters write that a light colour "washes someone out". With a more vivid color her white skin would appear even more pale. Gabriella has a naturally very white skin and she appears to be pale beside her mother who wears makeup. But her white skin is adorable, with or without the blush/beige dress. As for the style, not my cup of tea, her dress is like one for an adult woman in small size.
ReplyDeleteI wrote that the colours wash them out because that’s how my eyes and brain see them when dressed in those insipid beiges. I find that both girls look much more vibrant in deeper colours eg navy. I actually think that these colours wash most people out by the way!
DeleteI understand the comment “washes someone out” and I agree that these colours are not the most flattering here.
DeleteI have myself a very fair skin. When I look in the mirror I see I am much more attractive with my colored clothes than with off-white, cream, light beige, etc...
DeleteEveryone has colours that suit their complexion better. I agree these pale colours don’t favour either Charlene or Gabriella.
DeleteOu voyez vous le prince Georges ???????
ReplyDeleteCharlène et Gabriella sont bien vêtues, chacune dans son style - Gabriella est craquante dans sa petite robe dont la jupe est très légère !
